Hi Dick, would you not expect to hear a 'runour' of who the potential suitr(s) is/are to be 'out there' before an actual RNS confirms any deal? Bearing in mind the last fund raise was leaked orior to it happening.

Odd that there was no mention at all about the end of the negotiation period with the Slovenian Government. I was expecting some comment on that.

If you are the Slovenian Gov faced with settling this amicably to say the tune of 25/30 million it would seem on the face of it to make sense for them to also issue all the permits to AST too so that some of the money paid out in the settlement flows back in to the project for their eventual benfit.

Say a 30 million cash settelememt and full/all permits granted and it would be interesting to see what the market decide is AST's value and pps then. Not that I think they'd get both mind you.

The old expression is 'follow the money' .. £70k purchase of shares in an AIM company with hardly any revenue is not a flippant 'punt' imo. But time will tell.

As sceptical as I am, those are very valid points. Especially the Slovenia press. I remmember seeing press commmets and thinking there is. no way they can know that without the market hearing it first, yet they did (repeatedly).

I was wondering if the recent new licence award put a delay on the opening of the Data Room. It wouldn't seem sensible to Me to open a data room for it then to not imclude any data from the most recent licence award. You'd maybe want your data to include all your licensend areas no!?!? Just an idle thought.

Maybe its going in to a managed fund's portfolio of shares . But fairly sure Ascent will have been heavily analysed by the good folk at HSBC before they acted.

And on the flip side to all of that is the need for Slovenia to appear open and condusive to foreign investment.

I don't disagree with your comments and I'm trapped in here facing an 80% loss like a few others and I'm not blind to what has gone on previously but anything is possible.
