Thanks for straightning that Oggs, I was getting this years and last years Placings mixed up. That would explain the extra cash.

DJ79 - No I didn't miss those, I've been holding AFC shares for over four years now, so I'm fully aware of what is going on in the company. We all know about the 10% invested by ABB in the Placing. If you READ the RNS it clearly states that AFC finished the first half of the year much stronger with a cash balance of £61.6m (HY 2020: £2.8m). The Placing only generated £32M, so we've generated an extra £28M.

We will have to assume that the extra income was generated either from further investments by ABB, Extreme-e, Julich, or from one of the other various partnerships were involved with. With so many partnerships, it wont be long before demand outstrips supply for AFC products. AFC are now looking much stronger in the green energy sector.

What impressed me most with this RNS is our cash balance of £63M. That means we've doubled our income since the fundraise last year, so it seems ABB has invested heavily in AFC.

Another thing that stands out is the recruitment of new product engineers, manufacturing and field technicians, fuel cell and polymer scientists, and commercial staff, which expected to continue with an average of two new starters per week. That means the scale up of the company as a whole, is being ramped up significantly. This should be enough to see us break the pound barrier and stay there. Next few days/weeks will be very interesting.

It certainly was one today, for this and a lot of Covid stocks. If it carries on like this for the rest of the week, a lot of folks will be heavily under water. Fingers crossed things pick up quickly tomorrow.

This has got to be the quietest board on LSE. A great RNS and only one comment. That's another contract won, this time Electra Commercial Vehicles. So we now have partnerships in UK as well as EU. Good times ahead.

In late January this jumped from 40p to £1.50 in three weeks. Not the end of the world, instead buy some more.

benbenbenben - I was just about to say the same thing. The gap doesn't always fill completely, sometimes it will get close to the target price then move away again under buying pressure and/or a change in fundamentals. This could be what were seeing now. Or over the coming days it might drift down some more and hit the target price. From what I've seen in my short time in trading, 70% of gaps gets filled.

I would have topped up at this price but put the last of my funds into that dog of a Share AVCT yesterday. Looks like I've got a bit of a wait to break even on both. Not overly concerned as I used money I could afford to lose. I'll just sit patiently and wait. GLA.

This is tanking like a goodun. No clear explanation, except a retrace and gap fill. I've noticed a gap on the 16th February @154. Could be gapping

Let's not forget the last order we had, " PPS has received a 4th order from a large international engineering and aerospace group for four more Proton Motor "PM Module S8" fuel cell systems for the autonomous provision of energy and heat.

The customer further indicates that there may be further follow up orders to come in the pipeline.

Dr. Nahab, CEO of Proton, commented: "We are delighted to be working with this important customer for the long term and we expect that the relationship will expand to include training and service to support international sales."

With countries slowly opening back up, things should start picking up in the aerospace industry. The next order could be a big one.

London stocks closed well into negative territory on Friday, weighed down by inflation concerns and disappointing retail sales data.

The FTSE 100 ended the session down 1.9% at 7,017.47, and the FTSE 250 lost 0.94% at 22,324.19.

Sterling was also in the red, last down 0.77% on the dollar at $1.3815, and 0.51% weaker against the euro at €1.1633.
