London stocks tumbled in early trade on Friday, with banks under the cosh amid concerns about US regional bank loans. Sentiment on Wall Street took a hit on Thursday and shares of regional banks tanked after Zions Bancorp and Western Alliance said they had been victims of fraud on loans to funds that invest in distressed commercial mortgages.

Zions Bancorp said it would take a $50m charge-off related to a loan issued by its California Bank & Trust division, while Western Alliance said it had begun legal proceedings over a bad loan. Already grappling with stretched stock valuations in the AI space, an unresolved government shutdown and a deteriorating relationship between Beijing and Washington, investors were exposed to a new source of concern in the form of lending practices and bad loans for US regional banks.

Maybe even to 2 - 3p if the NHS guarantees orders of over a million.

1. Nugent injects a couple million or sources finanace through some other means.

2. Improved NHS contracts for early adoption.

If we get those two done at a minimum, the SP bounces back up to 1.0 - 1.5p.

If your average is 12p, then there's still hope, but you may have to stick around for another couple of years. But you never know, it could come sooner, if there's any good news on fundng, and the rollout of tests expand further.

JamesTrader71 - I dont think the NHS would be too pleased if that happened in the middle of a Scottish and countrywide rollout. Someone somewhere will come up with something. They're going to have to.

Hargreaves Lansdown Asset Management Ltd. also owns 26% of the shares so there's a strong possibility of either a takeover or the company going private. Ideally I would like to see increased funding from the NHS or some sort of drawdown facility, anything but diluting the shares further.

Come on stocksaint, even you can't be that thick. The NHS have already funded Genedrive in drips and drabs, there's no reason they couldn't increase the funds. They are in the middle of a large rollout which will cover the whole of Scotland by the end of the year. They are rolling out groundbreaking technology that have already been approved by NICE. In a way it's Genedrive that really hold the cards here and I see no reason why they couldn't be given increased funding to allow them to keep the lights on and get these kits on the market. Genedrive have every right to ask for increased funding, after all it's this committment to the NHS that is draining their pockets.

This coming Wednesday is the day we vote. I will be calling there bluff and will be voting a loud No. There's no need for them to be diluting the shares any further. It's already diluted to the tune of 1.02B which is a shocking number of shares for this once great company. I'm sure if they got up off their lazy a$$es and badgered the NHS who are already invested in Genedrive, and make them aware of there financial distress, I'm sure they would grant them some type of funding. Even if they were awarded a couple million quid, if they were able to announce that type of funding, it would greatly drive up investor sentiment, increase the share price, which in turn would allow them to do a fundraise at a decent price with minimum dilution. I will definitely be voting no, because at the current share price I may as well take all my shares and use them as loo paper. I suppose those who bought in at these levels or lower will have a different opinion but that's to be expected. I would expect all LT holders to vote a resounding No on Wednesday if they want any chance of recouping at least a decent amount from their investments.

Regardless if this comes good or not, those who have an average of 20p or more will never recover their investment . They will be lucky if they get back even a quarter no matter how successful the company might get.

Incorrect. The MOU has a lot of value, thats why the SP spiked on the opening day. The reason it’s dropping is because the market is now digesting the ludicrous amount of shares the company has on the market. All those people that were celebrating when the Placings were announced has now disappeared with their tails between their legs, the plebs.

With only 14 members of staff, they should be able to achieve their goals quite comfortably, and the SP should soon reflect that,

Too many people on here pulling out numbers out of their backside, without fully understanding the damaging affect heavy dilution has on the SP.

A target price of 1.2p will bring the MCAP up to 380M. No chance of that happening in the short term, too many shares to get to that value.

Hasn't quite settled yet, still dropping. If this settles in the 1's then any uplift will only take the SP to 3 or 4. This is the affect dilution has on shares.
