For the last couple of months we’ve had a strong support level @80. If we drop below that we could be heading for that gap @72.

Your wording makes it sound as if your saying 2.3M is all that was made from the Placing.

It's not rocket science that any expenses outstanding after the 2.3M has been used up will have to come from somewhere. Where else other than from cash generated from FI sales.

Computer909 - You said ODX will be left with 2.9M by the end of the year, that I'm afraid is incorrect. The Interim results clearly states that at the end of November 2020 Omega had a cash balance of £7.0m (2019: bank overdraft of £1.4m). All monthly expenses for this year will be covered from FI sales to China, and whatever Elisa and Antibody (Mologic and ABC-19) tests are sold. So end of this year we should still have at least 6M sitting in the bank not 2.9 as you said. So even if no contract materialises from now until the end of the year, Omega will still be financially stable.

Computer909 - Stop spreading lies. The Placing generated 12M, of which some was spent on the expansion. Omega currently have 7M sitting in the bank from the Placing.

Twatcher - If your only in ODX for Covid then your not very good at choosing covid stocks are you. There are plenty of other stocks that are doing much better than ODX, NCYT, Astrazeneca, and Pfeizer. Why don't you buy into those stocks? Colin is not responsible for what has and is happening with the contracts we have with the UK Govt. The delays have been caused solely by the UK Govt. Omega are in a strong healthy stable position. The patient will soon be rewarded, the impatient will sell and shoot themselves in the foot. Only the patient make money in this game. Stop looking at the SP every second, switch off, and invest in other Stocks to occupy your time. Plenty of money to be made out there while you wait patiently for Omega to deliver.

If GDR are selling their products in small amounts, they won't RNS it. Only if it has a significant impact on the turnover will it be announced. GDR at the moment are probably selling just enough to cover their costs with around £5M sitting in the bank following the Placing.

This looks like it's starting to tick back up slowly. Not sure why, as getting any news on BC and Genedrive in general is challenging at the very least. Maybe things are happening in the background. We'll see next week.

NCYT specialise in PCR testing. Now that the Govt is turning to Lateral flow tests over the coming months, it would make sense that the contract with NCYT is terminated. PCR tests will be used mainly to confirm a positive Lateral flow test. The tide may be about to turn.

The following has just been published by NCYT:

On 29 September 2020, Novacyt announced a second supply contract with the DHSC for exsig® COVID-19 Direct kits and other products. In the full year trading update announced on 29 January 2021, Novacyt explained it was in active discussions with the DHSC regarding an extension of the supply contract. Unfortunately, an extension has not been agreed, although the Company supplied PROmate™ in Q1 2021 in accordance with DHSC demand. Regrettably, the parties are now in dispute regarding the contract, which may have a material impact on Q4 2020 revenues. However, the Company has taken legal advice and believes it has strong grounds to assert its contractual rights.

Maybe the contract will now go to ODX. Let's hope so, should be an interesting next few days.
