Some good bits:

The test detects the D641G mutant of the original coronavirus and the Group expects that the test will also detect the newer coronavirus variants. Work is ongoing with Public Health England to confirm this.

The Group continues its commercial discussions with potential customers for the AffiDX® SARS-CoV-2 Lateral Flow Rapid Antigen Test and expects demand to be present for rapid testing for at least two years and probably for longer.

Healthcare services providers and governments are likely to be the largest volume customers of a professional use rapid antigen test and with an estimated price point in the mid-single digit GBP range. A higher price point is anticipated for sales to corporates for workforce testing.

This evaluation is expected to continue for another two or three weeks and the Group is establishing outsourced manufacturing capacity for the BAMS tests in collaboration with Adeptrix so that it is in a position to formally validate the diagnostic product as soon as possible. Avacta is also in discussions with a large commercial partner to provide a route to market for the BAMS assay.

Not doubting that, it just doesn't tie up with the whole sovereign test story so I feel that there's a big piece of information we're missing, not that I care too much because the European market is significantly larger than the UK's....

So after all that what have we gained?

- 5-10min tests
- At the centre of governments plan
- In the UK, the DHSC is a potential customer and partner in the roll out of such a validated test. (PARTNER - basically confirming the above)
- Confirmation that it's Nasal
- 20p on the SP

- Saliva wasn't submitted
- Porton down ****ed up a bit, so we went to Europe, but now we're back (?)
- Test needs to be validated

Can't get my head around the: "aiming to bring the test to market in Europe around the end of the first quarter of this year."
But possibly a 'if the UK don't want us then Europe will...?' or just simply distinguishing the Government rollout and private market separately

All in all good news, least it shoved a rocket up the SP for a bit. The RNS had a feel of something not being told IMO, cmon BOJO....
