According to LSE 32.5 m buyers v 9.7m sellers, yet 5.77% price drop. Someone's avvin a larf!

What sort of market is it where the number of buyers is double the number of sellers and the price falls rather than rises? Corruptly manipulated might be the answer!

As a newbie to investing I still fail to understand why a share price falls by almost 20% when high volumes are being traded in a buy/sell ratio of 5:3. It seems to defy page 1 of any textbook on economics and must therefore be due to price manipulation. What is the FCA for?

That sounds like a comment rather than an explanation. If it's dead and buried why is the buy/sell ratio 5:3? As someone new to investing I would love to learn from your greater insight.

The growth in electric vehicle is going to be good for the AA. Electric vehicles usually overestimate the range available and our congested roads drain batteries like water through a sieve. This will be exacerbated as elecric vehicles age (as do mobile phone batteries!). When the public come to realise this they will look to rescue organisations like the AA.

The wider question here is why Boo is taking all the flak when Local Councils such as Leicester, Trading Standards, Health and Safety, Equalities Commision, HMRC etc. are either asleep on the job or loathe to apply the rules that are in place to protect the employees, customers and investors .

Typical lefty approch. They don't care about ordinary folk who have invested their ISAs and pension in order to bash a successful British company. The Leicester Labour Council and MPs were fully aware of what went on in the South Asian Communities that run and staff the factories. Pigs might fly if the Guardian went after them
