The latest Investing Matters Podcast with Jean Roche, Co-Manager of Schroder UK Mid Cap Investment Trust has just been released. Listen here.
In the 28th Jan RNS the company said "The Company is continuing with these enquiries". I'm disappointed they have left that hanging and never came back to confirm the initial findings were proven or if in fact there was some other motivation for AC selling that day. May all be completely innocent as per the RNS ... or not. Either way I'd expect the company to close the matter down when the investigations are complete.
PS - As others have said thanks to Ian for the "game" thread, and Tilly etc for the pirate fun.
PPS - Thanks to Hoochy, always makes me smile. Reminds me of Father Jack Hackett in Father Ted and love his comments where he's binning someone that go along the lines: "You can f*** o** you t**t. Keep safe". Haha keep safe! He's entitled to his opinion as none of us know what resources/reserves they actually have so can only make assumptions based on vague words in RNS and interviews etc. Hope is is nearer the target than most on here including me.
PPPS - Don't sell them golden tickets, going to the moon and GLA :-)
@horse.mouth
LSE shows 28.8p at close - https://www.londonstockexchange.com/stock/EUA/eurasia-mining-plc/company-page
But my HL shows spread as 26.5p/27.5p so I'm up on teh day according to HL but not as much as LSE suggests.
I have no idea why HL shows a buy price of 27p but LSE shows 28.8. I find the HL prices are frequently wrong/lagging even though I have live prices turned on.
Having watched for years I’ve finally bought in. They’re overpriced but have decent potential.
Ah idiot. It’s all in the RNS
Any idea who made the offer?
I'm newly invested here. Not my usual type of share at all but MANO seem undervalued, grow year on year, should have lots of business over the next two years as far as I can see and seem good at what they do. The fundamentals largely look good too.
I'm invested as I am hoping/expecting a doubling of the sp within 2 years. Is that a reasonable expectation considering you guys know far more about the company than I do? Many thanks.
@PempeyRod. Thanks for taking the time to answer my question. Appreciated.
Hi all. Does anyone know the approximate breakdown in £ for each type of pgm element reserve EUA have?
Ps thanks Ian for keeping the numbers/dates game going. Interesting but of fun.
Pps thanks Tilly for the pirate theme. Thought it was a bit nutty at first but enjoy it now. Cheers all.
@Proby72
I think you are being far too generous to the bod. They delisted the share for 6 months! They took 6 months to redo their accounts and even then the dates they gave were delayed several times. Sorry to me that is all incompetence and unacceptable.
I am not invested now so shouldn't care but I do remain a little bitter at how this bod treated it's share holders.
Anyway good luck to all investors including employees who I know work hard for their shares.
Sold all mine. Surprised to make a profit today.
As far as I am concerned it is the same incompetent bod that have sat on an unlisted share for 6 months plus took as long to sort old accounts out.
For me to be invested I have to have confidence in the bod and this bod is plain incompetent.
Good luck to those staying in.
Anyone know who to complain to about the ongoing suspension? It’s a scandal and surprised the se allow it.
The fundamentals of this company, except this year, look excellent to me. I’m assuming in a year or so things will be back to normal. I’d like to go big in them but lack of YoY growth over the last five years tells me they’re stagnant.
***Tumbleweed!!***
I'm a small sh in IPF but looking to go big after the next results are announced.
One thing that worries me is the lack of growth in revenue and profit in the last 5 FY (prior to FY2020 which we know will be bad). This suggests lack lustre management to me who aren't growing the business. Any thoughts?
Trading was supposed to restart October. Then nov. Then Dec. Now jan.
As others have said they’re incompetent tw4ts who need sacking.
Has anyone worked out how to attend the virtual agm?
28th Dec is General Meeting. Hopefully the entire bod will resign ... I doubt it somehow.
Not sure how they have managed to delay the interim results again and as they had said share trading would start when those are published then share trading is also delayed. really not good enough.
I can't see from the last RNS out to virtually attend the GM.
So interim results now delayed again from this month into next year. Trading was supposed to restart after interims published so presume that is delayed again too.
This bod continues to prove their incompetence. Why haven’t they all gone?
I tried to top up with half a million shares today using Trading 212. Very frustrated my order hasn't yet been actioned; I was blaming T212.
Can you explain why a large order AFTER hours would stop me buying DURING hours?
My order still shows as pending on T212 despite several auctions having been and gone. Is it a T212 issue or something else you allude too that I don't understand? TIA.
@edben All well and good saying that but with the same incompetent bod in place what makes you think there won't be another calamity around the corner? What makes you think they have the competence to get in to alternative sales channels?
They aren't up to and need to go.
Thought they said before they'd restart trading when the revised results were published (in November). Now they're saying wait til interim results published in December then they will restart trading.
I don't trust this bod. Still surprised we haven't seen many more resignations after all the incompetence under their noses.
