I'm a long term shareholder and while not endorsing Pom, I don't mind in the least if he posts on here. I hope my SUMM holdings hit the jackpot someday, but I am aware that biotech stocks are high risk. A biotech stock traded on AIM can be especially vulnerable.

I'm a long term SUMM owner and got a pleasant shock today. Is this calculation too simple? 60 m shares $40m up front from Sarepta + $520m if milestones are achieved. That is 560/60 = about $9 per share. Currently at $3 per share. Plenty of upside, it seems to me. Could even be a buy opportunity at the current price.

If the SP goes below 100p, I will buy a few LAD shares to tuck away in my ISA. Good dividend, SP at yearly low.

Worth topping up, even after the price surge? I have a couple of grand that I want to tuck away for the medium term. Upside SP potential + decent dividend + lowish risk sounds OK to me.

I agree. Oils stocks such as Shell have been battered down over the last 6 months and should recover some ground. Also, a BG dividend is payable in May. No reason for mid-term or long-term investors to sell.

Trading volumes for TSB are much lower than I expected. Banks such as BARC, LLOY have high trading volumes.

Yes, I think it will drift back up over 11. Surely this correction is overdone now? One could even see it as a buying opportunity.

The BT Sports leaflets are now dropping through the door and the football offering isn't all that great. BT will have 1 game per week, with an 85% chance that it's Hull v Stoke, or similar. (Apologies to supporters of those clubs!) Sky will have 9 games per week. Anyone got an idea of the BT Sport sign up rates?

Talk Talk results met their expected targets. Another competitor in broadband and TV.

Thanks for the AAL recommendations. I'll leave it in for the summer...maybe there will be some M&A developments. AAL is always popping up in the "FTSE Fallers" list, though.

Thanks for your reply. I may need a strong stomach if I am to hang on for the ride... May be best to dump AAL and hold on to RIO. No point having two FTSE100 miners on board. If it's a bad news day, they both seem to get whacked.

I have RIO and AAL in my portfolio. Any point in holding on to these? Dividends are OK. But the iron ore price is forecast to be depressed for a couple of years. Should have sold these last year, probably...
