A totally new type of vaccine, one that has never been used by health services before. Has to be stored and managed with utmost care. Trials rushed through in a fraction of the time it normally takes.
Well, I'm not going to be the first to get the jab.

Hopefully, the world will start getting back to normal in the new year.
That should mean an increase in the price of oil. Which in turn would be good news for the CHAR share price.

RRN is 45p, allowing me to buy an RR share at 32p = 77p outlay.
But RR shares are 77p on the open market, anyway. Where's the upside?

My comment was to say that *news* of vaccine progress could affect the NCYT share price adversely. And so the NCYT share price momentum may not always be upwards.
There doesn't have to be a vaccine available. But positive news may make the market look ahead.

But positive vaccine news will emerge eventually. Surely that would adversely affect the NCYT share price?

These MM shenanigans are a good illustration of why NCYT should get off AIM as soon as possible.

I think NCYT should move to the main market, if they can. Market cap seems high enough.
Big funds will then be able to invest in them, they will get more publicity, and borrowing should be easier. Big contracts will be easier to get also.

888 does not have the level of USA operations that WMH has.
Caesars and the like are not interested in UK operations.

I'd be happier if this share was not listed on AIM. So we avoid shenanigans like share dilutions and market maker tricks.
But that's for the future, I suppose.

No deal with Caesars, no casino penetration, no deal with ESPN.
This takeover has probably been decided already between WMH and CZR. Very cosy.

Do I understand this correctly? If WMH sell to Apollo, Caesar's will kick them out of their casinos and online betting platforms in the USA.

Not sure about this. I thought the accepted wisdom was that it is hard to make money in anti-biotics. Will this purchase mean yet another share dilution for SUMM shareholders?

As a long term SUMM investor, I'm not getting too excited. I am half expecting some form of share dilution. This is AIM, after all!

So it's the inevitable share dilution, then? A common hazard for AIM investors. As a long-time SUMM investor I am disappointed that this company is still scrabbling around for cash.

I agree with Beatroot. How can a simple letter from a third party, which has only a 4% shareholding, result in a 6% rise in the SP?

Strange deal-making behaviour from Kraft. Table a mega-bid, then walk away a mere 48 hrs afterwards at the first hint of a rebuff. Whatever, the low pound now makes ULVR a takeover target. Maybe Kraft will be back if the pound falls further this summer.

So we are now valued at approx. 120 million GBP (146 million USD). Does that look right for SUMM at this stage in proceedings? Would be a whole lot more if SUMM wasn't listed on this dreadful "Wild West" AIM market.
