A bit more info,... looks like it will be announced after the EU Agriculture meeting tomorrow,.... along with a slap on the wrists list, possibly too placate the US.

.... the last RNS stated kit on site and stimulation commenced,.. that date 8th Jan..... so we are almost 3 weeks in to that process.

A couple of questions...has the company given any guidance as to the likely time period for testing?... and are the two wells being tested concurrently,... or is it one after the other?

Those things are not the same. I would imagine that they are now in an enabling phase for the second contract,.. the 'contract' itself,.. might have been required in order to finalise any financing requirements, insurance, up-front kit purchases, staff recruitment etc., Hopefully the update this week will explain where we are in the process in more detail.

Dare we we even dream of having not one, but three contracts, in place by the middle of the year? That would be quite a turnaround in 2019,... it might even bring a wry smile to Foxy's face?

With the SPV update also expected within days,... some commentators have suggested tomorrow,.. it is going to be an interesting week. Would be nice to see the sp on the rise.

That's the way the market works and you can theorise as much as you want,... but it will always come back to that. I very much doubt that it will only be worth 42p when we are in production. IMHO.

Agreed,.. it was a poor decision by JP to talk of completing the GSA before last Summer,.. when in fact there must have been many issues outside of his control, in order for there to have been so much slippage.

However, the new presentation,.. prepared just a couple of weeks ago shows the GSA completion at the end of Jan,.... my interpretation of the programme, would be the last week. hopefully when they agreed that 'slide',... they had in mind a 'milestone' meeting/contract signing date?

The ''big' tech contract,.. hadn't even been announced at this point last year,... RNS was end of March 18,.... we are only in Jan and everyone appears to be writing this off as something that couldn't be repeated?

An update on SL..... and pax growth,.. will be forthcoming.. as will updates on the Iran contract and the second African Contract that has been draughted.

Eskers,.. what are your thoughts on the SPV and the relevance to the contract proceeding.

We know that in the past PF has said that we were not relying on it in order for our contract to function,..but I have always been of the option that the BoD would want to see it in place before the exchange of letters,.. almost as evidence of heir own due 'diligence', etc., ie it could have been perceived by us, shareholders, that it was reckless of them to proceed without seeing that in place,.. should it all go t*ts up!

Once it is in place,... and perhaps we gauge the US reaction etc.,... then ( assuming all other issues are dealt with, like insurance).... the BoD may feel that they would be justified in moving forward, the addendum to the contract and the exchange of letters?

I agree and disagree!

I think that they were under skilled,.... and PF knew that...hence the beefing up of the Board with Sir TB ( who I am sure would have opened doors and added some gravitas to the mix,..).... and the new Tech Director... ( Tech Sales have improved since his appointment)...--- so in that sense I agree. I don't think that the recent appointment suggests that they should have been in place much earlier,.. I don't think there is any evidence to suggest that would have enabled the contracts to be signed and /or finalised any sooner.

I suspect that the recent appointment, .. and the timing of that appointment,..is a pre-cursor to the Contracts being signed and ratified,... and his experience/access to corporate funding etc., that we might require when the "go" button is pressed? I struggle to see how this can go more than a further 2 or 3 months within one of the long term contracts coming to fruition?

So,.. maybe. relatively...SOON!!!!!!!!

FWIW..my view would be the opposite. If the tests and sampling should gas of little significance they would have already had to announce that to the market and they wouldn't even be bothering with francis/stimultation etc.,

SOU know that whatever info they put out, once the testing is complete,..will be poured over by all and sundry and slide rules will be out valuing the company based on these results. They will want to get this right as it has enormous consequences for the LE. The longer this goes on,.. the less likely bad news IMHO,....and the more hopeful I am becoming. Fingers crossed.

Not long now. GSA soon I think.. within the next two weeks, if the latest presentation is accurate.

Last week in December PF and SirTB return from Africa with the Contract drafted for the second long term contract they discussed last year,... and 3rd week in Jan,... a new non-exec with much experience in corporate finance announced etc.,

Just less than two weeks to next Trading Update.
