The latest Investing Matters Podcast episode featuring financial educator and author Jared Dillian has been released. Listen here.
I have to say, I really don't know what's going on with this today ( nothing new there of course :) But such massive volume and not THAT much of a shift in the sp - all things considered ? GLA :)
Google showing the sp at 1.65.... Straight to NT for a BUY - offered 1.36 to sell
Showing BLUE now.... lets hope it lasts :)
Yep, I expect to see a good rise next year.... Merry Christmas SYQers and Good Luck for Next year :)
Feel like we are being hung out to dry here !!
Phew ! :) I to am expecting news before the end of the year.... As I've said though - not too worried about the sp just now ( I've had plenty experience of watching my shares get lower every day :) But certainly, with such a tight number of shares in the public domain ( 75% held by BoD ) I expect a decent run of news will see multiples of the sp from today's prices.... I'm sure everyone has already seen it but ......... http://www.syqic.com/ http://www.yoonic.tv/ GLA :)
I hope you mean before the end of 2013 ! :)
Good move Dibs :) Good price IMO... As we were saying on this bb a few days ago - once news starts to flow ( now ish / early next year ? ) then this sp will seem a bargain.... :) This ( IMO ) is the type of share ( this type of tech with 4G networks etc ) that should boom in the very near future... As for the sp dips - well, it's still well under the radar just now and companies with a low amount of shares in issue are subject to bigger peaks and dips than companies with billions of shares ( for obvious reasons ) - A bit of news and this will fly - that's when people will sit up and pay attention..... AIMO :) GLA :)
Afternoon All :) I'm not to bothered about any sp drops / rises at the moment ( that said though, I'd rather see a rise than a drop :) But it's not till next year that I expect this to really kick on - and by that I mean in a few weeks.... Not many shares in issue and quite a few will be tightly held just now and I would imagine most holders will be looking towards next year for SYQ to make strides - if there is a slide before news then I will add more but I'm really expecting a least a bagger here ( hopefully a multi bagger ) :) SyQic seems a good investment to me and it doesn't look like the kind of wild west carp company that AIM is full of at the moment..... :) http://www.syqic.com/ Good Luck All :)
Noticed that earlier as well ( couldn't get a price to sell ) What's that all about ? Not as if there's been a big sell off today ? BTW - I wasn't trying to sell - just looking at live buy / sell price.... GLA :)
Yep, I bought in here today as well...... Showing as a sell ( naughty, naughty ) A good sign though :) Good Luck All :)
Not 100% sure Brian but you could phone up your broker ( or share dealing number ) and ask them for paper certificates..... You have to pay for them ( as far as I remember, I've only done it once before a few years ago ) so you can split them up between you and your sons..... I think it was about £15 for a certificate..... Hopefully someone else can give a better answer.... :)
The problem is OKAP.... They are all at year lows.... COOL, RRL, BMZ...... Man, you have to wonder ? ;) Avoid OKAP companies like the plague ( IMO ) ps - all posts telling it like it is about OKAP get removed pretty quickly ( Even though it's all facts )...... So lets see how long this one lasts ? :) GLA :)
Woah - another OKAP company on a downward spiral ? Well, how about... RRL ? ( Oh wait ) RMP ? ( Oh wait ) COOL ? ( Oh wait ) NKWE ? ( Oh wait ) Get the picture ? OKAP - OK if your'e in the inner circle...
Sorry for the late reply - had to nip out... Yep, that's interesting what you say about our Australian cousins turning up - there was a great post on WS a few months ago ( RRL - Puntland - Game on ! ) which some astute poster found on a 10 year old thread on an Australian BB - about another PL related company - Practically word for word !! by the two same posters ( who by this time were now posting on WS ) - So your spot on.... I know people never like to hear anything negative about their shares but in my experience, it's the Rampers who cost people money, not the De rampers ! Anyway, the lesson ( the expensive lesson ) learned by me is that AIM is just one big game.... It's great to ride the waves on the way up - just remember to jump of before it ( almost inevitably ) all comes crashing down ! As for where the stops are on BMZ ? ha ha - no idea but I hope you find them just at the right time :) GLA :)
Totally agree as well mate :) BMZ may WELL rise rapidly ( and by the looks of things in the OKAP stable, BMZ looks like it could well be the next cash cow ) and for that reason it will be a BUY.... I'm not telling my granny how to suck eggs mate ( as you have summed it up nicely ) but if / when BMZ takes off - I hope people remember to take some profit :) GLA :)
Although BMZ worth avoiding like the plague ( IMO ) any Peter Landau / OKAP company seems to have a habit of making lots of fees for OKAP and issuing lots of cheap shares whilst diluting PI's into oblivion - just look at RRL or any of the companies on the okap website http://www.okapventures.com/ AIMHO :)
Pretty much agree with you... I'll be renewing my season ticket and am very happy with the reduction in price - Truth be told it's been too easy this season and really, we want some competition... That's why I don't mind mind MWell, ICT,DUFC coming and having a go - at least some teams have come and tried to make a game of it... And of course there's been some great nights in the CL - Lets hope for the same next year. Personally, I don't want to see alcohol back in the stadium ( I would like a smoking section though :) Problem for me is where would the line be drawn ? 20 odd years ago, the football crowds were totally different ( lots of drunken behavior ) not sure I want to see that again..... This season ( whilst away at work ) I visited Eintracht Frankfurt, where you could have a beer ( a decent beer ) and a cigarette ! in the stadium - no problems but I'm not sure we have the culture for it in this country... ( I also went to see the Boston Redsocks a few weeks ago on another trip - $8 for a so called beer ( a cup of p1 $$ !!! ) ) Anyway, for me, reconstruction or Celtic going off to pastures new is the only answer - Celtic are "too big " for Scotland - the only team to make a challenge over the years could only manage through cheating and financial doping... says it all.... Hail Hail
Puts buyers off.... I was in here ages ago so glad to see it trading again... As currently I'm NOT invested ( and not emotional about the company ) I can see great returns for investors at these levels - I hope to get back in sometime soon ( but not with a spread of 23.81 % lol ) GLA :)
I'm glad your eyes are open - thats all :) As for RRL ( WAS my main holding ) - ces't la vie :) it's a traders share nowadays - and I'm not as bad off as some so not too worried :) There will be money to be made there but it will probably hit 2.5ish ( or maybe lower ! ) so I'll recoup from there.... Anyway - got a terrible cold so am off for a hot drink :) GLA
