Love your optimism Gardeneye. I hope you’re right. They do have a couple of decent holdings as well as Leap. Yet Leap is the only holding that can give it a huge boost ( hopefully ) in one go. After that it’s a fund with steady returns. Though Gardeneye you did produce that document in 2016 ( when the share price was 12p) calculating the share price to reach 50p by 2018 and £50 by 2020 . I hope you’re a little bit close this time

Just out of curiosity…Ive looked at a couple of smaller listed companies- often listed in other countries and I’ve seen companies - especially lately. Trading at 1/4 of the cash it’s got in the bank. Some for obvious reasons…pre-clinical with just an idea and several millions worth of research to be done…..£10m cash and £3m mcap. But a year down the line it will be roughly equal and more cash needed. There are however some even in stage 2 with very promising products and even with revenue trading for a fraction of the mcap. I researched a few lately and there has been a few articles posted regarding this. There is said to be around 60 listed companies in the bio and pharma in this situation. Of these there is probably half a dozen trading at the same huge discounts as the pre clinical companies, yet they are late stage and well funded. They have just been dragged down with the rest of them.

I see this at work as we have access to accounts of a lot of pharma and bio companies. We can see exactly what is in their bank account at any time - we often provide Atimp services which can be over £1m at a time. It’s essential to know they can pay. You can understand it with the bio, pharma etc. as they burn cash faster than any. But this is generating profit. Crazy.

It’s a crazy situation. But yes it looks like it’s mcap is less than a few months revenue.

That’s not the brochure that predicted 50p by end 2018 and £50 by 2020 ? Half a dozen pages put together by the ramp squad. Some of the same people who are now reduced to ramping that it could reach 20p this year. What a come down! I thought these so called professionals running this portfolio would be able to at least pick a couple of winners. I’ve had several multibaggers in private equity over just the last couple of years. These clowns still have the same NAV as they had over 4 years back. Just the same as everyone now, just waiting for Leap to hopefully give a decent boost.

O’D. It would need our share of Leap to be worth another £30m more than is quoted on the books to lift the NAV to 25p. If that was achieved I don’t see the share price reaching close to the NAV ever again. It’s shocking history of failures to blame. Now is the time if any it should be trading at a premium to its NAV as it has a possible large uplift from Leap. Once that value is released it’s a slow burn fund with no big surprises to give any large uplift from that point forward. Now is probably the only time in its foreseeable future that a large increase in NAV can be achieved quickly ( Leap ). and yet still no buyers.

He is all in OEX now, that's the one he's done many years research and knows the entire BOD. Another one who you can tell hasn't a clue and yet tries to preach it. Exposed so many times and still people believe

LOL...Timing isn't my strong point on the listed markets. I usually sell too early....I bought 440k TEK for 6p, sold for 12p a couple of months later, then wasn't long until it was 36p...oh well...

I agree, I think Portage is worth a punt at this price .

Yea Mat. The mighty Quint and doggo laughed when I sold mine for 35 a share. They said it would be worth 100 by the end of the year. (2021). Last analyst said it was a buy up to £6.

I think even LSE has had enough of his bull shyte. He’s no better than the pump and dump squad. Each week he’s found the best ever long term investment and then seems to disappear after a few weeks leaving the others scratching their heads.

Well Reefles he’s picking up the pieces from the last shower of shyte. The NAV is the same as it was 4 years back. Ed’s had a couple of deals work out so far. I think it’s Leap where he will be judged. If he delivers that in the next few months and achieves a NAV of 23p plus then we can say he deserves his bonus. Until then I haven’t seen anything to get excited about.

Good old Ed. He values Seed at 23p a share. Let’s hope he’s right. He’s been here 4 years now. 4 years back the NAV was 10p a share - same as it is now. Let’s hope he starts to increase it soon with Leap.
