I was tempted to offload a few last week but stupidly held. I agree. This will never be a long term investment as it should be as an investment trust. People have to watch it by the hour and trade it. If you put a lump sum in anytime over the last 7 years you’d be out of pocket. I should stick to my own picks.

I think everyone’s just so p1ssed off with this right now. 4’s seem certain. It’s back to waiting for Leap. There isn’t anything else that could get this moving again. It does make you think is this why Leap haven’t been take n as quick as everyone expected? Only time will tell. A raise that would pay a few weeks wages and a reduction in value hasn’t helped. I’m reducing my target everyday. I’m around break even here but there’s no way I could offload many in this market. I’ll probably reduce into any ( fingers crossed ) spikes. With its history even if it doubled its. NAV would that really make it rocket?

Though surely the progress that they have made since last report would have increased its book value even after discounting for market conditions They had valued Leap in the region of £20m. I think most were expecting it to be worth double that by now. Even with a heavy discount you would still imagine it to have increased, even if only slightly in value rather than a decrease. Don’t you think ?? Add to that a tiny raise ??? They are obviously not doing as well as expected

That’s right kierwiet. It’s apparently been independently valued by Scalar. It’s not just at a raise or sale etc that it’s revalued.

So the July results will more than likely be disappointing too. Probably barely clinging on to 10p. NAV It’s already close to that with the several million drop in their Yooma investment and now Leap which we were expecting to have at least some increase in value on the books - this RNS shows they have reduced their valuation of it. I might be down grading my target price from 12p to maybe a little lower. Lol. It’s only money. Not Ed’s money…..had to add that

Probable Ed telling everyone Seed would be sorted by end of March - maybe people thinking it would be sorted soon. Then they changed the date to end of June - hence the recent spike now. It’s now later this year so will probably get a spike as it gets closer towards the end of the year.

Sam. If Leap IPOs with a total value of £50m that would add about 6.5p to the current NAV of 10.5p. So 17p NAV with maybe a share price of 12-14p. Good return from this point. Hopefully within the year. Still quite a way from Ed’s crazy quotes.

Don’t think you could really use that calculation. Mellon himself had a company with £500m a year revenue. With a £20m mcap. Huge revenues don’t always equate to huge profits.

Ahhhh. Maybe that’s why Ed didn’t buy any shares…..the clues are there. The RTO sounds like another twist too. Either way. Have to wait until the end of year now. Maybe gives an explanation to the lack of a quick sale to their other owners.

That might help Sam. I’m still keeping to my 12p a share prediction when Leap is eventually sorted. I know Leap only get a tiny fraction of the wager compared to the site, but it does seem incredibly low.

I think doggo got his figures mixed up. He said Leap had revenues of around £3m a month. That RNS said £3m for the year ending 2021.

I think quints sold again and into his next ramp. Opened his new room this morning. Lol.

You need to explain to the 34 in the room what’s going on with Leap. Lol
