I must add. Funny enough I like the CFG as an investment. Though unless that’s just a token investment to enable further investment ( which is quite common in pe ) then it’s a waste of time. It could 20bag and not even add a fraction of a penny to the sp.

Well Barwickman. I bought into Ffwd at the start and bought and sold as I began to realise it was jobs for the boys and their investment skills were non existent. It has been worth trading over the years - yet I haven’t made anything worthwhile TBH. I did like Factom at first - then there were literally dozens doing a better job out there - then the safe investment had me back out again. I bought and sold as the pump and dumps were started. It has never once been a share that you can invest in and leave to increase in value - which it should be as it’s an investment trust. The recent reduction in Leaps value is another signal. Most of my investments are in unlisted private equity which I prefer, but I do like to invest a few quid on shares that I can buy and sell easily unlike pe. I was hoping to be in and out with this within 6 months - my own fault again - they never keep to their word. I’ve made some of my biggest returns on shares like this - poor performers, bad management etc. but ones that have value within their holding. Leap imo really is the only decent holding and it’s the only one that can boost the NAV. Once Leap is sorted it’s sp will run parallel to the NAV as there is no more hidden value - when I say run parallel I mean with the distance of a shytey stick between. So in a nutshell I think Leap will raise the NAV to maybe early teens and sp maybe 10p. Which would double my investment in around a year. Still not a bad return

Like Barwickman has also stated they need to do it sooner than later. The sweet spot may have already passed for the sale of Leap. Many new restrictions to be added to the gambling market.

Yes agree it’s not all about early stage profit in these up and coming companies. But the idea is to invest in a promising company around the seed round and sell within 5 years when normally they will have their biggest increase in value - usually around 8 to 12 fold. Rinse and repeat. They need to sell and invest in another early stage company - they probably only have around £600k left. They need cash to invest in new ventures. Though looking at their pathetic track record it may be better that now they have 1 that is doing well maybe they should go with it rather than invest in another crock of shyte that they are good at doing

I think more and more are disillusioned by this barwickman. I’ve got a low average this time around, not much higher than the current share price, yet cutting my target price by the day. I’m only here for Leap like most, though I’ve never estimated them to be worth as much as some well known clowns, yes Leap are good - but there are so many in the same game and Leap still looking like it’s not making money. Mat nomads advise - that’s pretty much it. They didn’t advise very well when they gave Factom £5m when things were looking bad and none of the 4 bigger investors in Factom would advance them anymore cash. Just a loan from mates that’s all that was, wasn’t their cash they were about to lose. All in all I still think Leap will boost the sp enough to double your money from here.

Doggo said a few times it could be the biggest winner for Ffwd/Seed. I’m surprised he’s wrong. He’s normally pretty close. ….like when he said Yooya would be the Chinese Facebook worth billions. Or Factom would be worth more than IBM….or selling their stake in moon for £500k was a good deal when their stake in Moon would be worth £300m today … or schoold was a multibagger before it soon after went bust. Or DBC would multibag….before it also went bust…or the share price would be 50p by 2018 and £50 by 2020…..so he has been quite good with his predictions…let’s see how his £200m valuation of Leap goe…….I bet he’s very close …….lol

I think Ed needed a few quid and took some cash from the kitty and gave Seed some of his shares in CFG.

Invest a little in private equity direct. Especially Seed rounds. I’ve had a few multibaggers this last year and only a tiny % written off over the years. There have been some well known names raising cash this way. Depending on its status you can get either 50% or 30% of your investment back through tax relief within a matter of months - use it to invest in even more! If you pick the crap ones like Ed and lose your investment = After relief depending on its status it can work out that the most you can lose is 20% of your initial investment Yet you get tax free gains X 2 of your initial investment. What’s not to like Longlad? You should try it. You don’t always need huge amounts - some will let you invest from £5k or £10k. And I’ve seen some of the big ones even let small investors raise via crowdcube and seedrs. You still get all the tax perks there too. There are some good tips from the private equity board. Freetrade was a recent success for small investors. I invested a small amount of £5k and in around 2 years it had increased to around 14 times that = £70k. Remember though I got 30% of that investment back when I first invested so I only invested £3500. Twenty bag if you look at it that way in just a couple of years. Checkout the Freetrade board. Those who invested at the start through crowdcube and got 50% of their investment back, have after just over 5 years seen their investment increase in value 115 fold. 230 fold considering they got half their investment back at the start. Anyway. That’s me sitting in the sun giving advice like Monty Quint. His advice is to not forget to breathe, buy shares at the bottom and sell at the top and eat whatever you find dead on the road. Lol. You know it’s quite funny to read his posts but at the same time he is also misleading gullible people on shares. Making money from those that don’t know better. Quite entertaining all the same. Especially his talks about trials and Portage. He’s clueless, makes so many mistakes talking about it. But he probably does know more about roadkill menus and dogshyte wine than I do.

Make your mind up Doggo. A couple of weeks back you said Leap was sold and it was worth £200m. Today you say it could be worth just £300k and now it’s junk. I think we need to start following Monty Dons Quint profile. He knows every CEO of the very company personally. He gives better advice. His latest is good. Buy at the bottom and sell at the top. The man’s a genius. He must be nearly bankrupt now surely. He’s already living like a hobo

It would be wound up if its many more years...burning over a million a year in costs and no decent investments to speak of.....no chance in a million years of raising money....they need to do it quick
