Hi Rag, whichever, I believe they gave the impression that by building the factory, they would be taking a good proportion of production in house and therefore cutting out the potential of subbies and the slave labour risk. In any event, I reluctantly have to agree with dan, Boo has become (at least in the eyes of the City and the mainstream media) a scabby, mange ridden dog for all manner of scorn to be poured over. Sad but true. And because of this I don't believe full value will ever be reflected for many long suffering shareholders, no matter how long, no matter how much the suffering. Great company, cracking figures but has been cast out into the shadows of the wilderness like a leper for it's full value never to shine.

Pretty sure it was so if that's the case and the record has now been changed, that's yet another negative the media will pick on with all the attendant accusations of lies, deceit and wool pulling. Kitty, back a while I would have strongly agreed with you but I think sentiment and support have, sticking my neck out here, possibly changed ineradicably. I believe lots of substantial holders have grown weary of the wearisome pattern Boo represents and sold up. This in turn has altered the landscape, resulting in a loss of momentum and so I don't see it easily repeating the same patterns at the same levels as before. Perhaps similar patterns at lower levels because it has succumbed to inevitable gravitational downwards pull that weary patterns illicit. I don't think it's in a death spiral but I would not be surprised to see it drift a lot lower and god forbid, if the figures disappoint any, even by a slither, the battering will be savage. Unfortunately, a great British company that has become the perennial pariah of fast fashion. Give a dog a bad name, chuck enough muck and it will stick and all that.
