Why would the CEO sell a tiny amount of shares knowing full well the share price would fall. It's a pathetic amount. Surely he doesn't need the money very strange. Several hundred thousand sold maybe but a couple of grand seems odd and suspicious. There's underhand at work here and the management are manipulating the situation or so it seems.

There are 1297 open job vacancies at woods worldwide. Doesn't seem like a failing ship to me.

I believe suspension will come, what i do not believe is the board being replaced unless they chose to step down which is not going to happen. If the CEO steps down then it would give hope. Try replacing those personnel on a sinking ship, thats an impossible task as there are no takers until the full report is made public. So is Wood sinking, i think not. Yes it has been run incorrectly and needs new injection with different management. The right people in change should be able to turn this around. It is a case on whether management or SID want this to happen and we know where that's going. 35p has been offered to save managements ar-ses which if accepted would fade away any wrong doing if there has been any. It would be another poor company being run into the ground without any comeback on personnel that could be responsible. A sad state of affairs in my opinion.

Just over 150m market cap, turnover slightly above 6 billion. How on earth have the board managed to get to this level. Absolutely staggering. I would rather they replace the entire board and restructure the company overt a period of time. Yes they are in debt and they need more money but it seems this ridiculous board have shown how to utterly shaft a good company. With the right people of board this company could turn around completely within two years. Sadly it looks as if its being crushed.

Its going to be tit for tat leading into next week. China will respond like for like. We will know doubt get to a point where both tariffs are around 250%. Nothing will then move and both parties will have to talk like sensible adults. Stupidity starts wars. Yes, its a tricky situation and with the markets in turmoil who knows which way this will go. The board may be useless but the engineering experience is what makes this tick, this is what Sidara want. Management can be turned around but the skill set of many employees is difficult to obtain. I think this is a good company apart from the minority who have put WG in this situation.

Or woods go it alone for the long haul as they see more value and are prepared to bring the company together in a more profitable and sustainable way. We shall see.

I tend to think your right Vulgan. I to believe this will be suspended and the offer will came about more than likely the day before suspension is lifted. As for price no more than 80, this will be the bargaining chip. That's where we will open up at I believe with a further offer incoming but less than a £1. Either that and they walk away for another six months. I think its important for them to lay there cards on the table. I don't think they can afford to wait a further six months.

That's because this at the moment along with many shares are uninvestable. The market is to turbulent especially this week.
