I agree that Wood is in a more favourable position of picking up new contracts.

The truth will be known on how people will respond once this starts trading again.

That's the argument. Debt is increasing. You can run this company for another two years and the debt increases more. That's not great business, in fact its terrible. Will management turn things around. This depends on how much profit they can make out of existing profits. For all we know for the next two years they may still run up more debt.

I don't need a short Ice. I will lose, as all in at 37p sadly. I am just being a realist. 30p is all I see of the back of those results. There is no clear path to taking the debt down when they are actually increasing there debt.

If your profits are continually dropping and the debt rising surly it doesn't matter if the contracts are rising. Yes the debt can be worked on over the next months but realistically the debt increases. They haven't proved they can lower that debt yet. I truly can not see this increasing any further than 30p

Agreed. It is a long time coming. Will this finally turn on the next set of results. I certainly hope so.

Pure speculation on open price. The certainty is its an offer to cash out at 30p. That's where we stand. I honesty feel there are no other offers that are going to take on a massive debt that by the way is increasing. You can have 20b in contracts, but if they don't make money they are really worthless.

With the current debt pile, maybe 30p is the best Wood can achieve. It would be interesting to know how much the debt has increased or decreased since suspension. If it's still increasing on there present contracts I would imagine 30p is the best we will see. Another suitor may not want to come. We need to see the current status of the accounts to evaluate the way forward. At the moment it's not looking great.

I'm affraid I have to agree with you. I also wouldn't be surprised if previous management got a massive pay-out to bring us all down to this level. Sid must be sitting back loving this, waiting for the opportunity to finalise and make a lot of money. These people are filthier than an oily rag. Its despicable these companies and high up staff get away with this type of incompetence.

It is possible they could cherry pick certain contracts that are beneficial to them without costing to much. There will be bargains to be had when a company is going under. Although I wouldn't place to much emphasis on Petrofac as Woods need to get these accounts in the public domain.
