Roundtable Discussion; The Future of Mineral Sands. Watch the video here.
Whilst waiting is frustrating it is all part of O&G companies. As UJO is not an operator it is out of their control and has to rely on their partners professionism. Egdon had the ok sometime ago to start production at Wressel but as of today has yet to start any of the compulsory changes needed at the site. This is not lethargy but logistics.
Sorry but this board has become a bloggers paradise whether dampers or derampers each calling the other trolls or idiots. There is room for debate and ideas but be courteous. Steptoes was the classical example 500 posts in a month and calling everyone who disagreed with him an idiot. Admin is right to deny such behaviour.
Whilst I think it is a poor deal the omens were not on Egdons side with a deadline approaching and need for cash then Shell held all the cards. It is now up to Egdon to put effort into getting Wressel into production quickly so achieve some incoming cash for further works at Biscathorpe. I do have the feeling that will be some time ahead as the company has neither the money nor staff to run 2 projects at a time so a cash call could be on the cards.
I think that premise is a bit over the top. Whereas the future is dependent upon the number of tankers leaving the site minus the need to pay for the extraction costs and service the debt. You can see that most investers expect an increase in share price as judged by the offers on the 31/12/19 sweepstakes but much of that was hope rather than expectation. The oil business is both a slow and exacting investment but with patience UKOG will bring rewards but eventually.
Sorry to put a dampener on but good year don't make me laugh. A year ago the share was pushing 1.5p. Most on here have expectation else we wouldn't have invested but not many of us are above water. This share like other little oilers has big ideas that require funding so the lth's suffer dilution. Even when tankers are leaving daily the share price is still sliding. It's a jam tomorrow company like Ujo and Angus
Can't believe we have not had the Wrestle decision prior to Christmas when the inspector suggested that he would deliver it after the election. It's little wonder that in this country business development stagnates.
Hope Mark is checking the post regularly. Impending good news awaited.
When I logged on and saw an RNS I thought it was for Wrestle and negative in prospects. However on reading it my thoughts were why have 4 months passed before this announcement. To most this content has been assumed for sometime whilst others were convinced that an ewt would not be performed at all. At least that has been cleared up but why oh why has it taken 4 months to divulge
What an absolute waste. Surely an RNS is to enlighten shareholders to important new information not a précis of the previous year. For me this is just Parker getting the worst out of the way instead of manning up in front of a hostile audience.
It has been fairly obvious for some time that if West newton is as big as thought then it is certainly too big for the likes of Humber and UJO. To bring it to production will need many wells and quite a bit of infrastructure. That being the case it was always supposed that a bigger company would come in and buy us out. Rather than dilute further in an effort to keep up the momentum why not look for an escape route now and add value to the SP instead of trashing it. Opinions please.
Yes you are correct but having had to deal with PT,s retirement and his shares then Woodford,s fire sale this company is having more than its fair share of problems. These together with the Brexit issues associated with Lagan are reasons enough to believe this is no longer a growth stock.
