The latest Investing Matters Podcast with Jean Roche, Co-Manager of Schroder UK Mid Cap Investment Trust has just been released. Listen here.
A very big order was filled, or a very big short was closed. Either are positive, it required a large amount of buying which pushed the price up 45% which shows volatility is there, why? Because so many of the shares are locked in ownership.
Expect a blue day today as common sense about the impending newsflow should take over from the GREED/FEAR cycle is hopefully over.
My view is that last time we nearly hit 12p, the market got over-excited about hitting the top of the ore body, then the LCA issue kicked in, this is now resolved and the train is leaving the station again. If ActusRay bastards are covering their short, this alone will take us to 12p.
The AIM market has become incredibly impatient. People take out £50,000 in Greatland just to make money somewhere else for 6 months til the action happens, a friend of mine sold a bundle of GGP to buy bitcoin, but has just realised he might as well have not bothered!
Volume means nothing when brokers are working through a big order. If this is ActusRay Bastards leaving town, then we'll see some enormous trades show after hours, or we might never see them! They might have already left the building. Such is the witchcraft of shorting...
Great exposure, major study showing that Parsotix is the benchmark method for isolating and studying tumour sells across the world, just added major value to the Intellectual Property.
Speaks volumes about how recessional AIM has been, patents in the bag and 2 immediate contracts with AZ? Back in the day this would already have been over 50p. It's only a matter of time until large Pharma (whoever) wants to in-house the parsotix IP. It's worth £250m all day long.
Initial SP target 96p.
A lot of stocks seem to be creeping up since the GDP figures. I can sense a strong build from here :
1 DFS to come
2 Water management sorted
3 Top of ore body tantalisingly close
4 Once Hav and Telfer value comes out of the woodwork, we will suddenly be buying one or both.
5 Ernest Giles, new territory
6 GGP gas just hired an advisor who worked on the Newmont takeover, why would you do that? Why? Ha!
7 2nd biggest undeveloped gold asset in Oz and higher grades than the biggest = making faster gold!
8 Even if we sell out completely on Hav it will be 20p a share offer, nothing to lose.
9 Got the money to buy, and the backers, and the BoD, just waiting for value pegging...
10 One way or another, this ore is coming out, and will repay all investors at least threefold bare minimum.
Anyone can see the Algo buying or short covering from the low. Someone is getting in or getting out, big time. Ageos guesstimate of the MRE I hope is somewhat low, because that isn't enough to blow the doors off.
This all feels a lot like last time Greatland Gold got to 12p, nobody could quite work out why.
I feel the "extractability" is all that matters.
I'm going to keep banging this drum - AZ are not going to sit around for long before securing all share capital and intellectual Property of Angle. I'd say their technology is worth £250m... would anyone disagree?
