Unsure why the Newmont / Newcrest deal riles you so much. If Newmont are prepared to buy Newcrest without all "up-to-date data" as you keep complaining about then why is that a problem? Newcrest seem happy enough to be sold and their upcoming vote on the deal will conclude with yay or nay. I dare say Newmont know a thing or two about the mining game and have made their own due diligence assessments on all assets of Newcrest. Newmont were granted access to the data room. After which they did not walk away from their offer.

It has been said multiple times for weeks that Havieron was not the sole asset without a resource upgrade. And this week we learned that Newcrest has been trialling electric trucks for Havieron, as part of their ongoing studies before the Feasibility Study is released. Newcrest explained why they did not update some of their assets. Shaun replied and said GGP will not prepare their own upgrade. You need to accept what is and not talk about what is not, your "what ifs".

Shaun has advised numerous times first revenue from Hav is H2 2024. Telfer needs the revenue as much as we do. So I am expecting first revenue in 2024 from Hav.

Currently Newmont have not put Telfer up for sale. You are all guessing it is.

Frances aka sticky Toffee puds sure seems concerned all of a sudden for Newcrest. Strange that Newcrest is not crying fraud. Quite a serious claim that isn't it. That 700plus page document is a mammoth effort to produce. All assumptions and variables explained, nothing underhanded, very transparent. Now back to GGP, why be so concerned about "what ifs"? Why stress so much on things we don't know nor we do not control? GGP has in place a vastly experienced team and major shareholders in place, so all we can do is trust them.

Newcrest shareholders are not going to vote the takeover down because some of their properties did not upgrade their resource in August, get a grip lass. Your pal will be in London in a few weeks, so instead of messaging Shaun via X (twitter) you can ask him in person. You do enjoy wild and whacky theories. Unsure how you have looped Rio Tinto into the Newmont conversation. I am sure Shaun will enjoy being told what he should and should not be doing.

For Newcrest/Newmont as one massive organisation, Telfer/Havieron is so minor for them. If they do want to dispose in the future they won't be bothered about trying to received maximum value, they'll be happy to have it taken off their hands. Similar to the biggest Premier League clubs selling players below their maximum value if they want to get them off their books. Whereas a smaller team would want maximum buck as it means so much more. So for GGP Telfer/Hav is everything, but for Newmont they have much bigger fish to fry. Whatever happens I feel it will be beneficial for GGP.

Crikey Tig.... that is some accusation you make right there. For a guy with your investing experience you have been lately posting like someone fresh in the game. GGP/Shaun have multiple engagements with shareholder EACH month, show me a company like that? RNSs, video interviews, tweets, email replies.

Personally I am sick of people throwing shade on GGPs management. Operationally they are doing fantastic. Anyone who says otherwise lives in la la land. I am sure nobody here has ever run a mining company so they are all armchair experts.
