Fingers crossed the greenstone keeps delivering for EG and GGP. We really need a second main asset to propel GGPs fortunes. 💰🤞📈

We know Jundee is west of EG so I’ve been looking on NSTs website for all things Jundee. Two examples below. You can keyword search Jundee on their website. Gives me an idea of what could be found at EG since the rock sequencing could be similar.

As Shaun said on his recent Sunday Roast interview he doesn’t expect Newmont to rush any strategic decisions over the entire portfolio. It’ll be business as usual on a 70/30 JV split until something changes…. either Newmont want to buy our 30% or sell their 70%. If neither come to pass the JV continues as is.

Always worth listening and paying attention to what Shaun says in response to question about 2024. Exciting stuff.

Exactly bujler. So many interviews on YouTube discussing the junior end of the market and exploration companies. Most will struggle to finance their operations, some will fold, some will have to merge, all negative consequences for shareholders.

GGP has a clear pathway to revenue with Havieron thanks to Newcrest/Newmont and their vested interest to get the gold/copper out of the ground asap. Owing 70% is a massive carrot to dangle in front of Newmont, for a mine that will likely operate for 40 years or more.

Okay smart guy. We own 30% facts. Newmont own 70% facts. Newmont are the largest gold miner in the world and their business model is to find and mine massive ore bodies. Havieron has anywhere between 10 and 20 million ounces so why would Nemwont want to walk away from that. Newmont cannot force GGP to sell their 30% so they offer a very large amount of money to tempt shareholders to vote yes, or, GGP retains 30%.

Compared to Havieron's PFS of 3million tonne per annum..... nice reference point...

On the map Jundee is to the west of EG. Jundee was or is owned by Northern Star and when Shaun was CFO NST had Jundee, so he knows the area well.

It’s irrelevant though. In 24 hours you won’t even remember today’s close.

Lets wait and see what Newmont publish as part of their portfolio review and what they decide to do with Telfer/Havieron.

IMO Newmont's business model is to find new large deposits and mine them. Havieron is just that for the next 40 years and so I cannot see Newmont walking away. It would be strange if they did. It is hard to find gold/copper concentrated like Havieron is, so I do expect Newmont to either retain their 70% or bid for our 30%. Win win either way.

I think not owning 100% has a lot of benefits. We get the largest gold miner in the world providing their expertise and financial backing.

And Willem is a big big fan of Australia and the fact it is underexplored compared to say Canada, I thought of Havieron when he mentioned that future discoveries will be made under the cover sequence.
