If the spreadbet was LONG then man they have taken a HUGE loss. Sadly they may have been swayed by cyber and his merry men to go long on a spreadbet on his promises of 300% by Friday etc etc. Now you can understand why many of us get jacked off when we read such carp, real world implications.

And the peer comparison of TRP and its farm in... SP back where it was before their announcement.

What does it mean? Are the posts of "300%" or "1000% upon farm-in announced" all pie in the sky? Who knows. But it helps to see context of the bigger picture.

The RNS from GBP has not advised when the new share hit the market.

Is nobody concerned? All companies usually confirm the admission of the new shares via a RNS. GGP advised via RNS a raising for £1.5m with the new shares to on the market this week, but no confirmation this has happened.

In the meantime the share price is drifting down. And instead of asking why some here just waste their time moaning that certain people post here. Like who actually cares if trybuy or others post. Instead, ask what is going on!!

First the farm in was on track for 2024, now the date is pushed with no timeline specified. Then the raising not needed in late 2024 when Omar tweeting fully funded plus he said 'no' to approaches for cash. His credibility is on the line.

With SP currently less than the 22.5 raising value. In my experience I have not seen delays in RNS's if the monies were already raised.

The tier-1 Porgera Gold Mine in Papua New Guinea has been totally overrun my armed groups, even there's been shoot to kill orders from police, it's not enough to control the situation.

The sovereign risk in Papua New Guinea IMO has been grossly underrated, and I don't think Western gold miners will be able to operate the mining industry like they're use to, which is just pillage the resources & give opposing tribes weapons and money to slaughter each other. Even Newmont's operations there could be numbered IMO.

PNG Gov has plans to nationalise parts of the gold industry, and wants to open a mint and bullion bank. Probably they see how well Indonesia government is flourishing with it's 50% ownership of all gold mines. PNG shouldn't be a dangerous & impoverished country with all it's resources.

I think PNG situation will be another reason, that Australia will continue to be number 1 gold mining jurisdiction

Trippy this share price is not going to move until April.... when news is released for resource upgrades, Q1 2024 financial trading figures, etc etc. Sit back and accumulate in the meantime.

For an Australian resident taxpayer they have tax benefits over non-residents ref: Australian income for Australian companies. Australian dividends could have tax credits attached which Oz residents can claim back. Also the capital gains rules for Oz residents are different.

So assuming dividends are paid from the ASX listed top-hat company in the future, the tax rules will be different for Oz and UK tax residents. Same for capital gains tax. That is due to the differences between the Oz and UK tax systems.

Each month a massive amount of money is paid to the largest super funds, who then invest a lot of it into the ASX. In addition to other imvestments.

HG - I shared this post yesterday when discussing my hope that GGP include both a conservative and spot price of gold in their next feasibility study. It is De Grey announcement. Antipa also do the same as well.

We need to BLOW THE DOORS OFF for this SP to start motoring and no better way than showing the market the value of gold/copper/silver using the spot prices versus traditional conservative values. The world has changed now and fiat is being inflated to death. No reason for gold to return down from here.

Unsure it is "inaccurate". It reports the current market valuation of ASX peers and what that valuation would equal for GGP's share price if we matched it.

No two gold companies are directly comparable due to location of their operations, debt to equity structure, and other bespoke company level matters.

All I wanted is to compare ASX peers to see how we sit within the current valuation range. Broker target is 17p which would put us as 4th largest gold company on the ASX.
