Could these large buys be in anticipation of 2009/10 Half year results (16 November)

I've had this on my watchlist a while, but have finally bought in after seeing all the massive trades and the mm signals on here today....seems like maybe somethings brewing!

seems to be forming just below 87p... I would advise people to wait though, as price is still under manipulation and may fall further. sundancer might have hit the nail on the head when saying they might manipulate the price down until the news later this week...

I am not so sure we will see a retrace...It was waaay undervalued and I can't see anyone selling this share now. I think another 5% increase tomorrow, then maybe 5-10% every week for november. I am not selling till 250 min.

You might be right that the price will drop until news... I only hold a small amount here, as didn't feel over-confident, so I will double up if it reaches the 80p area. Theres no stopping WMH today! Seems like all those shorters have reversed their position, do you have a target? I am staying there till 260, think it will gain some good momentum over the coming weeks! :)

couldnt help it, got in at 87p, mainly due to the fact that the buys are almost 2:1 to the sells today, so the price is obviously being manipulated downwards, but I'm hoping the fact it must be completely oversold should push it up back over £1 by friday.

There is a direct link here between the no.of posts here and the share price! I am still skeptical this will move up as fast as some think, but GL all.

I can understand that - I was doing the same, thought I saw a good opportunity, but now I'm not so sure on this one! What are you in long term if you dont mind me asking?

I'm with MrMan, but not because of what they do - more because like spoons, these big companies are slowly buying out every pub in the country, so eventually every pub will look the same, be filled up with fruit machines and offer the same bland food menu - the pubs lose all their character and soul... Also, whoever is leasing the pub is usually forced to buy all alcohol through a particular brewer, who will overcharge them and it can be very hard for them to make any money. My local which was owned by Enterprise Inns has been through about 6 different managers in as many months and each time they have failed to make money, as they are forced to buy alcohol through the brewer who overcharges them massively... I think i've just convinced myself to stay away from this stock after that rant! haha

I'm waiting a bit longer, I feel MMs might push it back down to 84/85 before the rise.
