I can see that 230 was a previous high, but what is the level of 240 based on? Cheers!

rickee- where are you getting those resistance levels from? Do you have a chart? I think if we end the day at these levels or above, we'll blast through 230 and 240 no problem...Looking a the last rise here it was quite quick - 5-10% per day, think this will be a similar rise, but hopefully will take us to 300p+....Here's hoping!

Confirmed breakout on the charts & nice tight spread for once...Makes it a great opportunity. I've always lost money on this share though, so will not be surprised if it drops now, despite indicators all pointing towards a strong buy!

I don't often short stocks, but this one was mentioned to me by a friend and I went short the other day. I think it's heavily overvalued at the moment, Bill Gates buying in probably pushed the price up a lot and he's not known to be the world's best investor! Also, until the economy has recovered I can't see people shelling out on new carpets- it's not exacly an essential! Just a google of carpetright returns a result on the FIRST page saying: "NEVER NEVER AGAIN WILL I USE CARPETRIGHT" I think this says it all!!

Nice rise here this morning, I may well buy back in here, but I want to see where the price goes this afternoon before making a decision, I think if we can close at the current price or higher, things will be looking very good for next week! GL to the long termers, you guys deserve some decent gains this year!

Agree Mulledwine, good to see buys are coming in after the RNS though and I am hoping AFR might offer some more help. Some director buys would be brilliant to give investors a bit of confidence!

More buys than sells this morning! I'm holding for now...the RNS did mention they are trying to bring shorter term returns to the shareholders, which can't be bad!

Hope your predictions are correct! I bought in a few weeks ago here and I am definitely going to hold on to these for a while to come now..My grandad mentioned them to me, as he's lost a lot of money here over the past few years, but I'm hoping to make it back :)

We've seen a lot of II's buying in recently- the spikes on the 9th & 29th Nov were both due to IIs buying in and this could continue. However, the main reason I am staying in is because the charts are still looking very good indeed! http://barchart.com/opinions//KAH.LS

I only bought in a few weeks ago (remember the day when it appeared that 30% of the shares had changed hands at 200p?) I bought in for about 210p and it was looking like a solid bounce off the bottom support on my chart. I really expected it to start a strong rally, but it fell lower. I have always had bad luck with this share though - lost a lot over the appauling RI, so maybe I should just stay away! DOC: Charts obviously aren't the 'be all and end all', but they are a very useful tool and personally, I always use a combination of charts and research/fundamentals. Well the major support line was breached on my chart and even though part of me thinks it could bounce at this level, I had to stick to my original strategy. was hoping for a rise last week, but seems like an ii still has a lot of shares to sell, which could possibly push this further down...Also the charts really aren't looking that great now, hence I've sold out for the time being, will buy back around 170 or if we bounce and an up-trend is confirmed.
