Rockhopper Exploration Plc = 23p not 12p. sorry gents - looks like i missed that opportunity

Gents, I looked at the link provided earlier in this chat by 'BurtonD'—his top 10 oil and gas picks for 2025.

After digging into the details, here’s what stood out to me from the list and why I think these 3 companies are worth a closer look:

1. Union Jack Oil (UJO)

Why It’s Hot: Solid revenue stream from the Wressle oilfield (net $20M so far). The company is debt-free and generating consistent profits (£789K net in H1 2024). UJO is also diversifying into U.S. royalty deals, which adds a new dimension to its portfolio.

Potential Upside: Analysts are eyeing a target price of 47.50 GBX, which is a massive ~400% jump from the current ~9.75 GBX.

Verdict: Low risk with steady growth. A strong pick if you want stability and upside.

2. Rockhopper Exploration (RKH)

Why It’s Hot: Cash boost from a €190M compensation settlement and progress on the Sea Lion Project (Falkland Islands). The project is big—break-even oil price of $25/bbl and FID expected mid-2025.

I wanted to share an interesting experience I had this afternoon. I had a powerful dream where the Kefi Gold and Copper share price shot up to 2p, triggering everyone's sell limits. The price then dropped dramatically, and I missed out because I hadn't set my automatic sell limit. It was a wake-up call—literally and figuratively!

I even slightly arose from the dream, but it kept pulling me back, almost like it was fate. It reminded me of the importance of setting those limits. This has happened to me before with stocks like Kodal Minerals and UJO. Some might say, "Well, you're a noob," but many of us aren't professionals and we learn from experience. This was definitely a wake-up call, and I'm making sure to set my limits now. Looking forward to the good news that's coming.

Regarding the rumor about Harry from KEFI being in Riyadh and potential deals, here’s what I’ve found:

1. I checked major Saudi news outlets (e.g., Al Arabiya, SPA, Al Riyadh, Okaz) and government/mining platforms but found no concrete information about Harry’s presence or KEFI updates.

2. Saudi news is currently dominated by 2034 World Cup celebrations and the Middle Beast festival (Eminem, Muse, etc.), so even if KEFI signed something, it would likely be low-profile news.

My take: If we don’t hear anything by Wednesday next week, it’s safe to assume nothing major is happening this year. Christmas and New Year’s celebrations will likely prevent significant developments, and with the AGM on January 2nd, I don’t expect news until mid-January.

My plan as an investor is to take this opportunity to top up while prices remain low, as even a small rise could yield decent returns. Just my thoughts—happy to hear yours.

As Sb previously said, not much to raise the sp but actually fair volume today, but I don't see any news.

I call BS on your post BlueSquare.

This board should be a space for constructive and informed discussion, not for potentially slanderous or bad-faith comments, particularly about individuals like TW. We are all grown-ups here, and as investors, it is our responsibility to take the available information and make our own informed decisions.

It’s worth noting that speculation and baseless negativity on this board will not influence the share price or the company’s operations. The only facts we can rely on are those provided through the legally binding RNS (Regulatory News Service) updates from the company.

Looking ahead, the board of directors has stated their expectation that the bank loan will be signed by the end of the fourth quarter. Let’s give them the benefit of the doubt and wait to see what unfolds, rather than jumping to conclusions prematurely.

Kefi will not get to set the price. it will be what it will be from the saudis. minimum 12 month process. country in rapid development so possibly a more stable than Ethiopia but changes happen by decree so commercial companies have to align with MBS vision. personally, exit. focus on Ethiopia as it seems our management could do with fewer excuses not to hit milestones. Saudi is vast with potential - more stable politically. Has better infrastructure. has an established stock exchange. better standardizing their laws for international investment. - but KEFI needs definitive progress in Ethiopia.

Great point. I've got experience of working in saudi. I don't see this happening quickly. OoMAG is likely 1 year minimum.

a more valuable insight from you would be an analysis of share price value historically and looking at highs and lows and company actions. there have been a number of speculative rises where share holders have done very well if you treat this as a speculative option than an investment until it is such. why be grace and virtue here - we don't need you.
