Looking at the sp charts for the period leading up to the ex-divi. day, the sp peaked on the Monday and slipped back on the Tuesday and Wednesday.

This sp slippage was robably because of selling to buy back when the sp crashes on ex-divi day. That way it has been possible to avoid the 25% with-holding tax on the divi. because it is usually possible to buy back, on ex-divi day, at a cheaper sp than the shares were sold at - a sp which was cheaper by an amount approx. equivalent to the full divi.

The situation this time is more complex because of the sp drop ( and subsequent recovery) as a result of that trading update and because PLUS is presumably being bought by tracker funds ahead of PLUS500's entry into the FTSE250

would give the major time to walk away but by no means time to review thoroughly and negotiate the deal. Could be at least another 2 months before that RNS will come through IMO.

The two compounds have both cleared the first stage of these studies where single oral doses of different strengths were trialled in healthy volunteers. There were no adverse safety findings in this first stage.
Both drugs are now entering the final stage where different fixed doses are given for 14 days. In addition to studying their safety and pharmacokinetic profiles the two studies are also investigating the degree to which these drugs can inhibit the target enzyme LOXL2. Importantly, Pharmaxis has been able to demonstrate a large and highly significant inhibition of this enzyme for a full 24 hours with a single oral dose.

Phase 1 lung fibrosis targets -

Under the revised agreement, Pharmaxis will be responsible for the program’s operations, including the ongoing Phase 1 trial testing PXS-5382, an oral LOXL2 inhibitor, in healthy volunteers in Australia. According to the trades which can be viewed via the trades tab above the bid /ask was 0.60/ 0.62 at 16:13.

15.6mn shares issued on 30th May at 2p. Why has the sp broken upwards over the last couple of days. Because all those placee shares which were going to be sold below 4p have been sold?

IMO this link is totally irrelevant so far as BPC's outcome is concerned. This link is all about tax avoidance, company registration location and tax havens. BPC just happens to be located in this geographical area.
