Good moaning everyone! and for once I do mean everyone.

This morning was the first time in ages I actually enjoyed reading the board.

Not only is the RNS stunning.. but it appears our main terrorist has been removed cancelled or is otherwise no more.

I took the time to report every one of it's posts from the previous two days and asked admin to investigate. I am guessing that after my post last night that I wasn't the only one either so well done who did that.

FWIW this has been an important lesson in how green boxing doesn't work.

Lets hope it doesn't find a way back but if it does.. lets act more quickly next time?

I didn't want to influence your answer in any way. I have been listening to a podcast by a captain with 30 years experience and ex navy pilot who has made claims regarding the impossibility of inexperienced pilots flying those planes into those towers at those speeds.. particularly the 270 deg descending turn in the last three minutes by flight 175. Incidentally he says that experienced pilots attempted the same manoeuvre on a simulator and generally failed.

Yes you're right about the Lancaster.. they were indeed incredible pilots although to be fair they did have the advantage of many hours practicing !!

It's a fair point of clarification.. by sea level I was using a generic term as opposed to 30k feet 10k feet or cruising altitude etc.. all aircraft have a performance envelope that they are capable of depending on height above sea level?

So I actually meant 'just above sea level' ?

Anyway the Javelin idea sounds fascinating but my mercury vortex engine is a spin off from something already in existence. I got the idea after seeing for myself not one but four objects over London one night about 15 years ago and being an aviation enthusiast spent ages researching until I found a name.. and looking up the name found what I saw.. and you can too in case you think i'm just another fruitcake.. Project Aurora Tr-3b.. and see how they are powered.

They tell us they are surveillance craft but I believe they carry.. or can carry.. directed energy weapons.

Still it's nice to know we are being surveilled and being kept safe etc etc..

Once I realised how it works I set about making a minature version in my shed years ago.. getting parts was a nightmare not to mention pressurising the mercury.

I experimented with it for years and eventually got my entire shed to levitate but only a few inches off the ground I was keen not to upset the neighbours so it was fortunate that I tethered it down just enough to prove it up.
