There are meetings at big companies every day. Its just that most the time they are not relevant to the share price. Once again, news of a positive RNS has not come to pass.

Even if everything comes out well refinancing, anything other than a return to pre August SP, will only benefit new shareholders. AND if those new shareholders stop to take profit as it nudges up, the race back to old levels will take much longer. Any dividends are going to be years off. Even for new traders, with the volumes involved, a night at the casino offers better odds. Coupled with equity markets worldwide entering a bear market, sorry but this optimism is completely unfounded.

So if the worst were to happen and Interserve were to go into administration liquidation, who would have the best claim to the assets, the owners of the debt or the owners of the shares?

If Emerald have such confidence in Interserve, why have they publicised the purchase of debt, not shares?

This is the nail in the coffin. The advertising from the Saturday Night Takeaway are massive. Suzuki have an advert featuring them. England will bail out of the World Cup in the first round and any takeover seems like a pipe dream right now.

As with all bubbles the euphoria of the dead cat bounce on 7th March has worn off. The smart investors got out and made a profit. Some have tried in vain to ramp this up with ficticious stories of positive RNS and meetings. And now we come to this 'Wednesday' 9am meeting. Might be somethibg in it, probably not. Either way, the overwhelming evidence is that this share is in trouble.

The claim of 9.00 announcement on Wednesday has the same validity as the claims that there would be announcements 28th Feb, last week, Sunday (by the latest) today or Tuesday. Total guesswork.

And still no positive RNS. Why?

Probably didn't happen, just derampers trying to talk the share down. Fake news.

Ultimately this share finished down from where is started the day. The much talked about RNS never came. I did hear some city traders describing this as "fake news" but we probably shouldn't judge them to harshly. Nor yet has come the announcement of refinancing (Sunday by the latest) so we will have to wait and see on that as well. I am sure that if it doesn't come to pass, those who made this claim with such certainty "Re-financing will be announced by this Sunday (latest)" may be re-evaluating their position on honesty, integrity and morality. The fate of this share does still hang in the balance.

I certainly hope so, there are many in the city scratching their heads as they have not received the RNS they were promised this morning. Still, the announcement that refinancing has been successful will be made by Sunday at the latest, so they are still upbeat.

Looking everywhere for the RNS, many city traders were expecting this along with good news this morning. Maybe there has been a 'hiccup'?
