Consolidating well 7.2p to 5.4p

You’re entitled to your view, but a few things there.

First, I’m not “preaching” anything – I’m posting an opinion on a discussion board, same as everyone else. Sometimes views will be right, sometimes wrong. That applies to bullish posters as well.

Second, the share rising from 5p to 7.2p for a few days doesn’t automatically make every bullish call correct any more than a pullback makes every cautious call correct. Markets move around, especially on AIM.

Third, broker notes are useful reference points, but they’re still based on assumptions and models, not guaranteed outcomes. They’re one input, not gospel.

And lastly, no one should be taking any single poster’s advice blindly – mine, yours or anyone else’s. People should weigh both bullish and cautious views and make their own decision.

No need to make it personal just because someone sees risk where you see upside.

Just my view, but I don’t think a move back towards 4p would be a shock at all after the run it’s had.

The share has rerated very quickly in a short space of time, largely on sentiment, broker notes and future potential rather than any near-term change in earnings. Moves like that often retrace once the excitement cools.

At the current stage, Redmoor is still a development asset. There’s no producing mine there yet, no processing plant, no final funding package, and permitting/planning still sits ahead. That means a lot of the valuation is based on what could happen rather than what is happening today.

The market also tends to reprice these stories when newsflow slows. If there isn’t another catalyst in the near term, traders who chased momentum can just as quickly lock in profits.

We’ve also seen plenty of AIM resource stocks spike strongly on upgraded valuations and then drift back while the next milestones take time to arrive.

None of that means the long-term story is broken. It simply means after a sharp move up, a pullback to something like 4p would be normal market behaviour rather than some disaster scenario.

That said, 4p would also be my hoped-for re-entry level, as I still think the longer-term story has merit if delivered.

Equally it may not happen – just giving the other side of the argument.

It was clearly stated as a personal opinion, nothing more. Everyone posts views on where they think a share may go, up or down. That’s what a discussion board is for.

And if we’re being honest, it has been drifting lower over the last few sessions, so saying it could dribble further wasn’t exactly outrageous.

What this sounds more like is frustration at not taking some profit higher up around 7.25p, and rather than admit that, having a go at posters who think it may fall further from here.

Different people have different outlooks. Some think it goes higher, some think it pulls back. Neither side needs to make it personal.

Everyone’s entitled to their view. I’ve taken profit after a strong run and explained my reasons. That’s investing, not personality.

Some prefer optimism, some prefer caution. Time will tell which was the better call.

Now I can put up with someone saying I talk merde but calling me the merde is a different thing completely so post an apology as I am not sure why you have targeted me with this kind of wording or just put up with other people being able to have an opinion different from what you want to hear and stop writing merde yourself.

I am sure the Ramping crew on this board will have plenty to say and can buy my shares tomorrow as they keep saying on the cheap !

I’m taking some profit here now. It’s had a great run and I’m happy with that.

There’s no doubt it has huge potential and plenty of metal in the ground, but at this moment that’s still what it is – potential. It’s still in the ground with no processing plant in place, limited transport infrastructure, and a very large amount of capital still needed to extract it, process it and move it.

There’s also planning and permitting still to work through, and we all know large UK projects have a habit of taking longer and costing more than first expected.

That doesn’t mean it won’t become a success story longer term, and good luck to those holding for that outcome. I just prefer to bank gains here and revisit it when the story moves from ifs, buts and maybes to clearer delivery milestones.

SP Angel note will be interesting to read, no doubt.

On Leigh Creek though, I’d say that’s largely already known by the market, so I’m not sure it changes the bigger picture too much either way unless there’s a surprise.

It’s a relatively small part of the company going forward now, especially with all eyes on Redmoor and the wider tungsten story.

If it completes as planned then fine – extra cash, cleaner structure, move on. If it doesn’t, then it probably raises more questions than the completion itself adds value.

Feels more like housekeeping now than a major rerating event.
