Lav im just going on the fact that the DMS sign-off is the longest outstanding roadblock, from a timeline perspective surely the DMS plan must be agreed, then Mali can sign off on the Hainan deal, then restructuring of the companies can be completed and moneys transferred. Im guessing that the delay was down to getting all the required persons (environmental impact/water/logistics) people to sign off the new DMS plan. But it is just that, a guess.

The delay is Mali side. Hainan are not going to send $117m to build a DMS plant until the Mali gov have approved the DMS plan amendment. Dont know why they are taking so long 🤨

Spod price rising again is massive for KOD, at present yr 1 revenue based on the projected $2635 spod price is estimated to be £152.7m (KOD’s share)

With Spod at $3940 yr 1 revenue increases 50% from $152.7m to $228.3m

If it stays high, years 2,3 & 4 increase dramatically…

Yr2 75% $$$ increase

Yr3 103% $$$ increase

Yr4 232% $$$ increase

Total $ increase for KOD would move from $463.7m to $913.2m

Almost $1bn turnover just to KOD, before we even fire up the floatation plant 🤪🤯💰

Yes i think the drop was because Mike confirmed 12month DFS timeline (people dont like waiting) and took off the table the liklihood of a big JV in the nearterm. While I agree that would have been fine by me its clear that Mike wants to play the slower game for a bigger reward. Why give 50% away now for a £100m deal, when he can scratch together the DFS with £3-5m in debt/dilution, and get the 99% grade testing completed, and then negotiate a far superior deal, either offering up 10-20% of tge company, or getting a loan for the req amount and retaining the 100%

Its worth considering that 50% of a£ 12m company to get the ball rolling sounds good now, but fast forward a few years and BRES are producing and expanding the resource, that 50% could be worth billions, literally. So if you are patient you could be sat on a 100 bagger, the question is are you prepared to wait for it.

Im going to sit on what i have and look to double my holding if they announce a placing to fund the remaining 50% of the DFS, anywhere between 4-5p is a “back the truck up and wait” signal for me and il be happy to let it ride until 2025-26

Yes paul, 7709’s were all the seller, they took my full 6.6m buys no issues along with at least another 5-10m so i guess its a biggy. Nowt to worry about tho, better they slice now than slow us down when news starts flowing in.
