SB breakdown30 May 2019 02:44
Im in awe at some of the comments this evening, showing no regards for SB and no real thought as to what he’s done, why he’s done it, and what impact it will likely have on our sp. so lets break it down...
What: SB sold 3.4% of a 7.4% stake and is now on a free carry
Why: Great timing selling into two stellar RNS updates. Also people would do well to remember this man rode GGP all the way up to 2.5p on the Newmont saga and then had to watch serious profits dissolve when we crashed to 0.5, just think about how you feel when your puny holdings take a hit and understand that he may not want to risk literally millions again, in the event that HAV turns out not to be the golden ticket. So i say fair play, now you can take your free ride and enjoy it! And saying he has lied saying he was not going to sell before 10p is absurd, I have a main holding and a “fun pot” that i buy and sell GGP with, sometimes weekly, he still owns 4% of the entire company, probably more than everyone who posted here today combined!
Impact on sp: In my experience this is only ever a good thing, we’ve all been wondering why there has not been a rise to 2-2.5p on the build up, because the supply vs demand has been skewed by 80m shares flooding the market, the lack of rise puts off the speculators who go chasing other stocks that have been gaining. Now its out in the open the balance has tipped massively in our favour, buying demand will outstrip sellers causing the sp to rise and the rise attracts more speculators, and it snowballs.
Mark my words, when the TR1 drops this will start motoring as we all expected it to after the latest RNS’s dropped. Seen it a million times before.
