Not just for the huge amount of news due in the coming weeks and months but the fact that its just so well run!

Newcrest see Havieron through to completion at no cost to GGP

Value to GGP = $300m, Sp = 10p

GGP sell the remaining stake back to NC for $150-200m

GGP use said $200m to prove up 5-10m oz deposit at Black hills

GGP sells Black hills to Newcrest for $700m-1Bn

GGP SP = 30-40p

No dilution required.

GGP uses $700m to prove up other sites...... see where this is going?

This imo is GH’s vision for building a $1Bn company in a relatively short period of time.

True value will out! Even if it is running a little behind!

There’s going to be a day very soon where this tips over and just runs and runs, look at DISH as example, ticks, ticks 1.5p....2p..... then 10p within a few sessions, boom!

GGP will be the same, expect a few 20-30% days, news drops, will be 4p in the blink of an eye, and thats just on HAV. If BH comes up trumps too.....wow!

Keeping it real, i think we are still 3-6 weeks out from HAV and BH results to start filtering in, and i would add that we need to be expecting moderate grades around 2g/t from the new HAV drills. I think HAV 5 really hit the sweet spot so im not expecting grades that high from any of the further drills. 1.5-3.5g/t would be a fantastic result, and what we need to prove up now is the tonnage rather than the grades, thats what will make it a commercial find and add value to the sp.

Everything between now and then is a bonus but i would not get to hot under the collar if another few weeks go by without an update. It will all come in due course.

My opinion based on the “aggressive drilling campaign” comments and 24hr drilling schedule is that Newcrest have fast tracked Hav in order to supply Telfer. I believe that progressing through the JV stages is a foregone conclusion. Its happening shy of any major upset, and its going to happen fast (1-2yrs) we are going to own a 30% stake in a 5-15m oz gold mine.

Add a similar deal on Black hills, and the rest in the mix and were looking at anywhere between 300m-800m valuation. Thats if NC dont just say Fruck it and make an offer for the whole GGP outfit.

Meanwhile II’s will start to dip their toes in, and other Majors offers could start a bidding frenzy.

I’ve been here more than 24 months so far, and can wait another 24 for that pay off.

No trading, just sit tight, cash in 2022, bye bye mortgage.

Has anyone one discussed where the 10 holes NC are drilling actually are? Are they targeting around the sweet spot of Hav5 or a more broader sweep?

Boredom brings out the worst in people.

My god, me and my buddies have just had a right chuckle over todays comments! My personal favourite was “its the 25th of July or im out” or words to that effect.

It would be wise to do some research like DJ and Apple, the serious investors <- (important word) here are fully aware of the timescales involved. Last time i calculated it at 5months from announcement to results, by that standard we’ve got until Sept/Oct, that said the 2nd drill will probably yield quicker results so personally im expecting mid to late Aug.

I understand the games being played here by some, i considered selling a few in the 1.7/1.8 region to try and buy back cheaper, but after thinking about it for a few days decided not to because if NC release pictures of great cores (which i dont think they will) but if they do, kiss goodby to this trading range.

I would advise more of the posters here do what im doing, kick back, set ur RNS alerts, check in on the bb on the odd evening here and there, but get on with your lives, weve got a good month or so before anything kicks off.

Hmmm, i think the “first lot of core samples” he relates to will be the first 10 cores. I highly doubt they will release them in dribs and drabs.

The longer the sp stays here the better, another top up or two from selling other assets in the next month so i hope she dont pop until August!

I did some fag packet calcs on the time it would take to drill 10,000m based on how long it took for EG and HAV previously. 5 months from “drilling commenced” until full results, factor in the fact Newcrest are using 2 drills and i’d say 2-2.5 months from start.

So if were 5 weeks in i would argue were about 1/2 way there. Happy if they deliver the news sooner but im not going to be getting my knickers in a twist if in 2-3 weeks we’ve still not heard anything. Early August in my books, and happy to sit tight for the rewards.

Hopefully they are discussing where to stash all out lovely 2g/t loot!

Negative: im sure last time i did the math i figured it would take 3-5 months from “drilling started” to “ Core results”, so im not expecting anthing until August at the earliest, not that that bothers me in the slightest, i’ll be here for years to come.

Positive: If they are drilling close to Hav1 and Hav5 (which they must be) and they hit similar visible mineralisation (which they will) I would expect they would have to RNS it because everyone involved on the rigs would have information the market did not. So I think we will get updates on the cores coming out in the meantime to keep the interest here.

That said, from a totally selfish point of view i would be just as happy if we went sub 1p so I could double my holding again when i get some freed up funds in July/Aug, but thats extremely unlikely.

I believe the rule book says you must announce once you have finished selling, if an investor takes a week, 2 weeks, 4 weeks to offload they dont have to announce until they have finished, they dont have to RNS every 1% drop like most people seem to think.
