Thoughts for the day6 Mar 2020 21:31
I did a calculation based on GGP selling Havieron for £700m, using that to drill Scallywag and PRE, if they found 1x Havieron style deposit at each site, and owned 100%
£1.40 a share
If gold went to £3000 an oz in the next 2 years, you’re not far off that £3.
Unlikely, but every now and then all the planets align.
But we’ll get snapped up well before then.
Also a question, i asked this a month ago but didnt really get a response.
If the gold in the ground is conservatively worth $100 an oz after extraction costs (gold price being $1650 currently) making extraction $1550 (likely to be much less i know)
$100 x 8,300,000oz = $830m (our 30% = $250m)
Does that then mean that if POG goes up $100 to $1750 an oz, giving us $200 an oz profit after extraction, the value of havieron doubles?!
So for every $100 an oz POG goes up, GGP is worth a quarter of a billion more?
Im trying to see the error in that math, but i cant???
