agreed Phoebus, Starbright seems to keep bringing up the same nagging view in an attempt to dampen spirits. but its not working, those of us with the experience in this market know exactly what is going to happen here.

gold is £1000 an oz and mining costs are £800 an oz

Company "A" therefore makes £200 profit per oz

Gold price goes to £1500 an oz (+50%)

mining costs remain the same, so profit per oz becomes £700 instead of £200

an increase of 250% profit (company value), on a POG increase of 50%

Even at todays mcap its equivalent to GGP at less than 2p!

So even if u wanted to be the biggest bear in the woods and say that OMI only has 4m oz and they only get 1m oz, you get after costs £300m mcap

You are arguing about valuations with a group of investors that have been in GGP for the last 3-5 years and have gone over value models..... every day..... for 3-5 years...... we’ve got quite good at sniffing out the diamond opportunities, hence why we’re all here.

Sure you could look at UFO, ECR, COBR,CNGR, ALBA, ORR, POW, i could go on, but all of those have one of the following issues...

No money
Crap grades
No JV

They are clutching at straws

OMI has a free carry while this resource is proven up to a potentially very lucrative asset, JV done, huge intercepts, crazy high grades, and 3 other targets that could be even bigger.

Exactly, there are people here with no experience of how junior explorers or JV’s work, not to mention a poor understanding of how to value a project.

Its either lack of research, or ulterior motives, hopefully the first.

If Newmont want to go over the 20m spend they can do, and OMI will pay their appropriate portion as per the split at the time (Newcrest went waaaay over their spend with GGP to get to stage 3) if the resource is there, the Majors will spend the money to get it out, its in everyones interests.

One last thing

Anyone notice 4m shares traded today, thats 3x / 4x usual
