Y11 this will be the last time I ever reply to you as you are going back on filter.
But your comments are dangerous.

Of course BP sp follows the ftse .
It would have to BP and Shell both oil companies are currently no 1 and no5 as biggest companies in the list.( over your time period they have often been no1 and no2).
It’s a case of the ftse tracking BP and Shell.
I would also note that you say ftse will drop from 7500 to 6500 a drop of less than 15%.
Yet we are to believe that BP which you say tracks the ftse will drop from £4.78 to £3.75 a drop of 21.5% .
I cannot see any logic in that.
Everyone else if free to make their own mind up what they think of y11

Enjoyed your comments and not just because that what I hope happens.
Putin I believe thinks of himself as something like a Bond villain ( or panto baddie).
So he will do something negative.
I suspect we will get a crude reduction, then just at the wrong time one of the crude pipeline will have an issue.
This will be whichever pipeline punishes the country he has decided to punish.
But what do I know a year ago I was convinced he would never invade as he held all the cards until the day he invaded.
Who could have predicted this year it’s had its very rough moments.

I will try not to get too big headed.
With one or 2 exceptions almost anyone could have won.
It just shows what we all already knew, no one really know where sp is going.
There are too many variables to get it right every time.

Looks like Santa managed yesterday’s rally without buybacks as there has been no RNS.
At the start of our competition I considered your £5.20 target very very achievable.
Even now with a day and a half to go it’s still not impossible,if Santa had the right bit of good news in his sack.
The economy figures are not really a surprise considering people have been worried about energy prices and interest rates( 2 things they have hardly had to worry about in last 10 years).

Now that sp would get me just a little excited
However £5 is just as tricky as £4 was .
However I’m a bit happier with BP as a£4 stock than I ever was as a £3 stock,but only for this year.
It’s never boring being a BP shareholder ( just sometimes not very rewarding)
