I met him last week.
I was sent out with 2 year old Grand daughter as he would be passing house in 5 minutes.
20 minutes later I got a phone call to say he was 5 minutes away.
35 minutes later we could hear him somewhere
55 minutes later we met him.
But it was worth being an icicle when she ran in all happy shouting Gran Gran I saw Santa.
And sure enough his sack was full to top with BP shares, so you better be good

Maybe things start to slowly improve from here.

It appears that any time inventory build there has been a release of crude from strategic reserves.
It’s positive for inflation that diesel stocks are starting to rise,especially as heating season is here.

What part of the world is that?
-7c currently in Central Scotland with the same freezing fog.
Solar and wind irrelevant today.
Some people back to what it was like as a kid with one room heated.
And Ukraine with areas with no power ( and little prospect of a change) must be even worse.
But still even on a day like today there are many who take their Fossil fuels and energy companies for granted and as a cash target

Definitely some optimism out there today.
I liked the fact that we just about managed to finish positive yesterday after being down a large part of the day despite buyback below 10m.
Oil this morning and US last night giving some comfort.

If you got out at about £5 and back in £4.60.
At least if being back in proved to be wrong ,you have de risked thing a bit against just having held all the way backdown from £5.
It’s really choppy with conflicting force around just now.

I’m sure the recession is coming it would be a major surprise if it didn’t make a real appearance.
But like you say it’s been talked and talked about for months,almost like they talked it into happening.

Should say so once again we are in recession

So nice again we are told we are in recession.
Yet I’m told Md January for someone to come out for a quote for a loft hatch.
Late February for someone to install a woodburning stove.
And still waiting for my builder.
At some time it must start to really affect.
It does seem to be a strange recession,so maybe won’t hit BP to hard.
Would like a bottom on sp at £4.60 and a Christmas rally please

I am very positive in the bigger BP picture
But as you have said there will be bumps on the way.
It’s really how we navigate the bumps that will position BP for the future.
This time last year we never saw the massive bump caused by the Russians and Rosneft situation.
I think the next 5 year plan will be exiting as the last 2 , 5 year plans have been massive.
When we finally get to the plain sailing bit folks will really see what a cash cow looks like.
The whole Hydrogen thing if it goes to plan will be massive.
