Don’t you just love our weather in the last 48 hrs we have had
Snow ,ice ,torrential rain ??,high winds ,and even some sun.
And I bet it’s been the same for many out there.

I assume that even if a platform was left unmanned like that now it would be monitored and controlled from land so that a total surprise like that could not happen.
Are you able to confirm if that is true or not.
I think that period of BP history Accountants had too much say in operations leading to, to many disasters and near misses.

75 p range. Says something about the ups and down of this share.
A wee Dow depression and £4.65 would be so easy to reach.
A good set of results ( which I do expect) and Americans to decide that maybe their inflation glass is actually 1/2 full and £5.40 would be very easy to achieve..

Can we just confirm exactly what we have based our sp on.
Is it the closing price on results day ( after results are known).
Or are we actually just looking at what sp will do up till results day.
Not that it really makes a lot of difference as any sp is possible

Hope you are right but not seeing it start with a £5.
I will stick with £4.82 it’s worked twice already.

LONDON, Jan 11 (Reuters) - BP (BP.L) has appointed Gareth Burns to head its global ventures division which oversees the company's investments in start-up technologies as part of its shift to low-carbon energy.

Burns joins from Norwegian rival Equinor (EQNR.OL) where he set up and has led its energy ventures business since 2016, BP said in a statement.

BP's ventures business has invested $1 billion in 70 companies and actively manages 30 of these today, according to its website. The businesses range from unmanned aerial vehicles to geospatial analytics software and artificial intelligence.

Having seen the weather I’m still wondering why.
Got faith in Jakers anyway so no problems there.
Holding pattern till results then hopefully burst through £5

Note if you take the roughly 4,000,000 being bought back each day and multiply them by about £4.80.
Then take that figure and multiply it by days till results .
The answer is very close to the total Charlie said on Tuesday was still left for buybacks.
This suggests that there will be no extra buybacks announced next week to offset dilution.
So expect an announcement Monday just to prove me wrong.
