Ecr have had the ability to capitalise on this ‘tax benefit’ for years, what exactly are we expecting the new guys to achieve? Genuine question.

Buddying up with ECR would surely mean taking on some of its liabilities and expenses. So on the one hand you get a tax break, on the other you have to feed the BOD, tuppence a bag..

Surely only viable in a JV type situation? However not being an accountant I’m not sure if a ‘partner’ can make use of the others historical tax break? Surely they’d have to be amalgamated somehow?

Interesting subject, not one I’d necessary be making wink faces at yet though as I’m not sure we’re particularly attractive to anyone else until we get some solid results out! IMO

Yea.. they got bored and dumped for a freebie profit around .3p on the initial spike, not many lefty I expect hence our drip back to .21 - I think the recent rise has been genuine sentiment growth (Nick in Aus, results close etc), so that's a good thing.

The only one heavily pumping ECR these days is Ti. Who knows, he may be right!

You’re very smug Ti. I like many others bought in on false promises and have paid the price. Having you ramp the socks off it and make petulant remarks while it trades under 0.03p is frankly pathetic. Sorry but it is. I hope ECR succeed and of course exploration is what it is, but when the company has sp@nked millions, overpaid bloated staff, promised JV’s but delivered zilch, dilute us often, buy property and kit only to sell it for a loss, forever talk about the bloke next door etc etc then it becomes more than just ‘not reading the label’. You specifically called me out so you’re getting my opinion. I was a huge ECR bull for years, but look where that got me eh.

These next set of results are crucial! And while exploration is a gamble we’re short stacked on a roulette table with an extra few green zero’s.

Nick went to see AJ & Co in the field.. A decision was made to allow AJ to concentrate on what he does best (strategic change).. they've quickened operational tempo (not sure exactly what that means.. worked faster, more productively?)... This approach means they can capitalize on POTENTIAL opportunities when they arise (ie they're ready as and when)..

Let me guess, you read that as JV RNS tomorrow morning right?

It reads as the usual 'we're doing everything right and waiting for our big moment' talk we've heard for the past umpteen years. I've learned not to read into anything ECR hint, it's led to millions down the drain as far as investors are concerned. I'm glad they're working on being more streamlined though.. Although there are still a few elephants left in the room!

Also of note, Southern Cross has undertaken 45,971m of orientated diamond drilling with 4 rigs while we're dipping our elbow in at significantly shallow depth (at present). Worried we might miss strike tbh. Fingers crossed AJ & Co know what they're donig!

Unrelated conversation is obviously fine in moderation, but I have limited time and enjoy perusing the LSE board for information nuggets to help quantify investment decisions etc.. Some posters are genuinely fantastic with their time and research. I've just noticed you in particular have been outspokenly rampant with your conspiracy spam so wanted to let you know those on the side think it's irritating. But you do you.

Watcher, from an impartial who peruses the ggp board but rarely posts, Bamps offeres ggp specific info with links and references while you appear to distract, antagonize and segue into unrelated conspiracy theories. Why exactly? Seems wholly inappropriate and a complete waste of your time frankly, particularly considering the vast majority of it will be deleted by LSE. Go hit up reddit or tik tok or somewhere appropriate for that conversation, nobody here cares, honestly.

Perhaps a few other board members could look in the mirror also if we're talking about efficiency and appropriate use of funds going forward? Sensible decision from AJ, he's a geo guy and was put in front of the camera in a corporate capacity too many times which was bad management IMO, he too often looked uncomfortable to say the least.

Maybe it's just me, but it does irk me a bit how they keep banging on about being re-energized and a fresh start etc.. Which on the face of it is true, but it implies that the past few years prior they were unmotivated and not energized while making out all was well and taking bumper pay with 'bonuses' (consultancy fees!). This is obviously not a criticism of Nick & Mike, but clearly tells me that under legacy management this company is an admitted flop. Only one thing to do if that's the case. Read between the lines.

ECR had poster’s purposely filling the LSE board with contentious stuff clearly in an effort to subdue conversation and have conversations deleted. Looks similar here although hopefully nipped in the bud. It’s just not relevant at all to discuss that stuff.. If you cared that much there’s FAR better places to spout your thoughts! Calculated IMO.
