There is a charm to clinging onto hope against the odds, we've all been there (I certainly have). Ultimately the frustration lies with the company for not delivering anything substantial. sycophantic praise and/or finding irrational reasons for excitement (Doc hasn't posted for a few days etc etc) won't help anything.

Ti, it would be good for everyone for ECR to rebound, but don't end up like Jack Nicholson in The Shining, staring vacantly at every tweet with a grin and an eye twitch.

First lot didn’t ’light up like a Christmas tree’ then. BUT, absolutely all first sticks are either duds or ‘pathfinders’. To hit jackpot on preliminary drilling is one in a million. Hopefully the next set will be better! I bought for Hav, additional hits are a bonus. GLA

Perhaps I was not clear, I was referring to ECR in general. Years of over promising and under delivering. Granted the new chaps haven’t had a chance to prove themselves BUT it shouldn’t be lost on you who remains on the ship who oversaw the total destruction of the sp, and with it our hard earned.

And yea, I get it.. explorer stock etc etc - but all the phones ringing off hooks, multiple mines at baillie talk, $20m shoots etc etc you start to notice a pattern.

We’ve had the multiple shoot spin last campaign though BM, at one point they were touted at $10-20m a shoot (AJ interview a few years ago).. Surely that would have stirred a JV if accurate?

I’m not purposefully being a trouble maker but just seems Deja Vu as mentioned. Adds to the frustration. Just don’t want a rinse and repeat scenario as we’re short stacked.

Perhaps BH, but the market ain’t. Just saying what I see. Fed up with blowing smoke for ECR. Hopeful for some more commercially attractive results at some point before the cash is exhausted on pathfinders. Catch 22 though I admit.

Debbie Downer here. Deja vu atm, few duds, few 1m sprinkles and the token 1m anomalous high grade hit. Hopefully the bulk samples will be good. Just being realistic, those results weren’t indicative of anything more than we’ve previously seen, but perhaps they’ll form some geological understanding from them.

For those who remember, this was the exact conversation we all had awaiting the fabled Creswick results a few years ago.. Silence just HAD to mean they were bonanza grades and a JV was a sure thing.. Tread with caution and be pleasantly surprised IMO.

They may just have nothing material to say while they wait.

Ti, would a company need to buy out ECR to utilise its tax benefit, or would a JV suffice? If it’s the former then It’s a balancing act as I mentioned in a previous comment. If a straight forward JV meant the major could gain from a 32m break then surely a big big would have done that years ago? Logically. It would be a no brainer. The fact it hasn’t leads me to believe it’s not as straightforward as some think. After all, it’s been in the shop window for years now and nobody’s taken it to the counter. it’s an interesting subject though.

Saying you are hopeful someone will bear fruit is like starting a business and saying ‘I hope this works out!’ - like it doesn’t really imply anything specific. This convo is a waste of time.

Regardless of what stage the new campaign is, results will dictate the next step. So yes, pathfinder results are important as if they’re a flop, there’s no path, so to speak.

Yes I’d say the upcoming Creswick results are important in this jigsaw, as previously the DMS hasn’t shown anywhere near the consistency needed.
