The inherant weakness that us investors face is essentially the actionsof our chosen management in our investments, many times I have seen shares that in my honest opinion would have gone up ten or twenty fold snapped up at what seems like a pittance given long term growth potential. CFM does sound like a bad deal and I am off to have a glass of good wine and read up! Going forward CDN are a great prospect for long term growth with fantastic resources, however we now have this takeover talk and all we can really do is rely on "management team" to get us the best deal possible. It is also in their interest to obtain maximum value for the company, I will put my neck on the line and say that I am confident that we will recieve a good offer with a decent premium. I also am certain we are really at end game status now and do not think that this will continue for too much longer and to be quite honest if the sale doesnt go through for any reason I would be a happier camper but perhaps this is because of previously missing out on some of my fav growth stocks due to buy outs! Can't make to much comment before going over the facts, i suppose it's a double edged sword really, you have to take each company as unique but you can't help but be influenced by previous experience. i will say for the record that I think the coal market are ripe for M and A activity by the Chinese and the Indians and as we know they do have extremely deep pockets.....

Buffet indeed! I agree totally on all points, the future for shareholders even if a takeover does not materialise is very bright for those with a long term view.

Its just a matter of time, patience is a virtue and the stock market is a means of transferring money from the impatient to the patient!!! It makes me chuckle how antsy people get when there is any kind of timescale involved! I am confident and sitting tight, this is not a speculative tech stock based on yet to be completed technology we have guaranteed resource base and some vultures circling! Just hold and wait! But let them bail, it only provides the confident among us to top up with more shares. As soon as anything is announced the same people who bailed (and many others) will pile in driving the share price and our profits further still! I think that some investors are getting a bit nervous and closing out before the weekend! That works for me as I am topping up on any dips, I would hate to see people miss the surge when details of the T/O are announced!! Strong company, good resources in high demand, stable country, and two prospective buyers- it really doesnt get much better than this. Good luck to all
