The facts are that the management team have breathed new life into ECR and are doing things differently and imo more professionally than the last team .BUT .... in the last 3 years Ecr have spent big and delivered little . It's OK to say things like " patience " , it's only the first hole etc . But it's not is it ? Since 2019 ECR HAVE NOT delivered any meaningful results that warrant the potential for a commercial mine .There has been some outrageous ramping for the last 3 years that has been completely without justification. It's blindingly evident to all and sundry that ECR has not realised any commercial value whatsoever , whilst paying out a kings ransom in wages and expenses. All paid for by the shareholders of course . You can say what you like about " potential " .Yet again the goods have not been delivered by a company that for the last decade have promised much and delivered virtually nothing .Not an opinion .But a fact ! Many shareholders are in deep here and sitting on big losses and when they don't get what has been intimated for the best part of a decade then I'm afraid they've been shafted for the sole benefit of the few . Dress it up how you like , yet another rolls Royce promised and another Lada being delivered .
Agreed .Some people can't seem to grasp that if there isn't any major news then the company won't issue anything .Until this bullying genocide by Russia is over I don't believe that any major news is likely at all for obvious reasons .Nothing can happen until this lot ends , hopefully with the maniac putin being assassinated .Now that WOULD be a day to celebrate. There's many around the world, including me that would provide that service free of charge .And countless Russians too I wager .
And ggp down 2% or thereabouts .Ggp is in a completely different phase to those other companies. There won't be any action here for a while now , regardless of what people say .The sp will get going north eventually of course but at the moment this is a waiting game stock and will be until extraction looms and the markets are more settled . Not much to see on Aim generally until world affairs change and ( where ggp is concerned) mining draws near . Regardless of the status of a company , Aim in the last 18 months has been largely abysmal. I think everyone is waiting for sentiment to change . The polar opposite of 2020 .
I'm pretty sure that you will get your answer to that by someone in the know . But lets face it , on Aim , valuations and calculations seem to be largely irrelevant. Ggp is much further down the line now than it was 2 years ago , yet it was 38p , and now mid 7's ? If anyone can work that one out I would be very impressed. This Aim is basically a lottery/ casino . Alien metals , Cloudbreak , etc .Ludicrous rises , and spectacular falls that seem to be based on nothing but the mms amusement. The mms have everyone by the gonads . Nobody will ever work this market out , ever . Only coming to the conclusion that its about as straight as the M25 .
Well if Berenberg have said that a buy rating of 18p is recommended, that's all well and good .But it certainly calls out the absurd and sheer fantasia ramping of some individuals on here .The price of £1.44 I think has been banded about , together with many pie in the sky prices that are based on nothing but wishful thinking .There is every chance that Greatland Gold can reach monumental highs going forward as Havieron alone is potentially colossal. But some of these figures that are just plucked out of thin air are frankly ludicrous.
Credit where credit is due .This Ecr team are going about their business much more efficiently and transparently than the last bunch .The Ceo here seems a world away from the last Ceo who promised much but imo was out of his depth .His dangled carrots fooled us all . But under the current Ceo things sem more structured and much better managed .I have slated the previous management in the past and I don't regret a single word of it as it was justified. But Ecr look like a different company now and their sp reflects that .A long way to go yet but I'm happy that at last Ecr seem to be doing all the right things and seem much more measured and professional. The complete opposite to the former management team .Sometimes companies need a slating , especially when they tell mistruths and are incompetent. But from what I'm seeing here , that seems to be in the past now , so credit to the present team and good hunting for the future .I'm sure a lot more people are starting to look in here , and not just the long term faithful.
A poster recently said to look at all aim shares over 5 years and see the massive losses /current sp for yourself. In almost all cases he is right .It's called dilution .He also pointed out that basically, the shareholders pay for everything. Ie , the lifestyle and wages of the directors . That .... to me ... sums aim up to a tee .You pay , they play . Cheers Tim . Simon ....Bermuda !
Greatland Gold is a well run and potentially hugely successful company .But at the moment , no matter what they do or produce , it will have little impact as many investors and punters just aren't buying shares anymore .Unlike 2020 when everyone was at it . It will take a while for true value to be realised here because of the above .However , when ggp are near to production and hopefully world affairs are very different, we will see a significant change in the value of this company. But in the meantime, as in all Aim shares , you are going to see the opposite of 2020 , with very few fireworks indeed .The market is at the moment , and for the foreseeable future , about as buoyant as the titanic .Nothing to see across the board for a good while yet .Regardless of developments ! In short , great company and great potential, quite possibly phenomenal resources .But the ball is currently punctured and there will be no play until its it's mended .
£450.000 each year on directors salaries as a reward for failure is absolutely scandalous .This kind of thing is rife on AIM . Some of them are lifestyle companies and little else .They must be laughing their teets off at everyone .
Ctc1988 , there's a war on and this company are getting on with things whilst , I imagine , keeping a low profile and staying out of things .There's little they can do until putin gets wasted .Updates will come when they are ready .Everyone is frustrated but that's how investing seems to be .Once putins out of the way we will see a different arena all round .The rest of the market is utterly horrific too .
Partypooper, great reply , why didn't you just copy and paste my original post ? Oh and by the way , great sentence compilation at the end with multiples of " Ha Ha " . Exceptional stuff pal !
Astonishing to think in the year 2022 , ONE MAN who has an obsession with " The Motherland " could put the entire world on the cusp of nuclear war because in the 1990s several areas of Russia voted to be independent countries .Let's hope the Russians are secretly plotting to get rid of the biggest pos in recent history.
No way would I ever take the Russians side here but during the Cuban Missile Crisis , wasn't it because Russia wanted to place weapons in Cuba in case of conflict with the USA ? Kennedy said no so there was nearly a nuclear war ? In my view if the Ukraine had categorically stated that they would never have an alliance with Nato in any form and they would remain neutral i feel that this war could have been avoided in the first place with some common sense dialogue between both parties .A bit late in the day now but surely it would have made sense ?
Tim is a blagger who is making a fortune from just that . There are lots of lifestyle companies on Aim and this is surely one of them .Its like football management here .Get paid if you win , get paid if you don't. People have been absolutely fleeced here by blaggers who are living the dream .Steak was promised and mutton was delivered.
