Don’t think it’s forming a head-and-shoulders pattern currently because technicals, the momentum, moving averages, medium-term trend all remain bullish. Volatility, upward momentum, and strong news flow create expansion, not an impending reversal. News continues to favour further upside, with positive drilling results, resource updates, imminent MRE and growing investor confidence driving the trend. So rather than setting up a reversal, the stock is being lifted, making it unlikely to form the symmetric peaks of a head-and-shoulders base.

This is one of those small companies that feels on the verge of something big and at the time of a rising gold price. They’ve just finished over 6,800 metres of drilling at their Mbe project, and the results include some truly bonanza grades with evidence of a very large and open gold system. What’s exciting to me is that they’re moving quickly towards their first JORC Resource in Q4, this could be a real value trigger. At the same time, they’ve reinforced their funding, kept the share structure clean, and the market still hasn’t caught up with the potential. In other words, you’ve got a low-valued company sitting right on the edge of a possible major re-rating. GLA

Great news again, each step is building the bigger picture. Pitfield keeps getting larger and more valuable, metallurgical work is proving commercial potential, and now the OTCQX upgrade for more investors supporting the story.
