I’d love to think applied & sustained pressure will nudge them to act but I’m not holding my breath; there’s more chance of MM using it toward his victim / blame everyone else mentality.

On February 17, 2025, the UK Supreme Court heard the case of THG Plc (Respondent) v Zedra Trust Company (Jersey) Ltd (Appellant) in Court Room 2 at 11 AM.

Having seen how Ingenuity was carved out for relative peanuts I’d also lean toward scepticism….I’ve watched this unfold for almost 3.5 years now and managed to average down on a number of occasions…only then to watch it drift lower….

My take is that it’s one of two scenarios: Abs Magee and those ‘in the know’ don’t really want to increase the SP as the end goal is / always was to take THG private at bargain basement levels imho …..or he’s made that many enemies along the way there’s a colluded effort to disgrace him with his eventual removal as CEO - I feel this is where our beloved Steve fits right in.

Either way, as a long-term SH with regrettable overexposure, I’ve tried venting to IR on a few occasions; but honestly a brick wall would be more responsive. My next thought is to start reaching out directly to members of the BOD for some insight / express growing shareholder frustration… (another wasted exercise no doubt!)

After reading todays CityAm piece on Selkirk Group, I’m starting to think more and more that it will be used to bid for RemainCo as a whole or either nutrition / beauty segment….There’s too many links; Iain McDonald overseeing it (he was behind the rejected 170p offer) and then Kelso, our frustrated activist investor are also backing Selkirk…..McDonald talks about there being so many undervalued opportunities currently on the AIM, but most telling is the actual description of Selkirk Group stated in the article: “The single-purpose acquisition vehicle is looking to strike a deal for a firm in the e-commerce and consumer sector with a value between £30m and £1bn”.
