Trickle down economics when carried out has never not worked. What I meant Jotom was if the higher tax rate rises the overall tax take stays the same COZ a few bankers/footballers leave the country and people with their own companies reduce the salaries they draw from the companies. Also when corporation tax was cut from 22% to 19% the overall tax take increased - so putting it up to 25% may not bring in any more money COZ people with reture, decide new contracts are not worth the hassle of taking and new invesment is reduced. Its called the krivaya laffera - laffer curve

The conservative party voted in a leader Truss with a plan for lower taxes and growth! I didn't like her stance on Ukraine, but cutting corporation tax and higher rate personal tax would have not brought in any less funds to government. The growth created could have generated more funds. But the globalist organisations WEF, EU, BOE, Treasury stopped it immediately. They could not abide a low tax, high growth economy, making individuals wealthy and fracking so close to Europe. But it shows who is n control of UK! Very sad!
