Yeah Nancy a little concept called energy security or security of supply it's probably a little bit beyond your grasp of understanding but GTW will address what appear to be shortcomings in electricity generation in the UK and around the world. Given that on average the wind doesn't blow sufficiently enough in the UK for 40% of the time that represents a HUGE potential for GTW to fill in that gap.

By the way that battery power project is nothing to do with GTW or Nu oil so pointless posting it here. Perhaps you need to read up on what the concept is all about before posting to stop yourself looking stupid lol.
Then and only then can you actually claim to know what your talking about. My reasons are based on facts in black and white so if you think those reasons are bizarre then you obviously think that the whole concept of GTW and what the company has been saying is bizarre all along.

Iceman - I'm expecting an update any day now especially re GTW and for the following reasons :-
• Operators in the North sea are under pressure to find ways of deferring decommissioning gas fields considered stranded which would not only save a huge amount of money but would also maximise recovery of remaining reserves of gas (2.8 trillion cubic feet (tcf) in current fields).
• The OGA and govt actively support the re-energisation of the Southern North sea, especially with the link up to be made with existing infrastructure and the gas fields which previously were considered un-economic (Just one offshore ‘gas-to-wire’ facility could utilise around 2 bcf per annum and generate enough electricity to power around 50,000 homes).
• Mfdevco have first mover advantage here where it is clear that GTW has been on the table since Q4 of 2018 and as a result of this we saw the collaboration with Siemens who also recognised the capability of Mfdevco to deliver here (MFDevCo is concentrating efforts to agree Heads of Terms for two identified priority GTW opportunities, with respect to which discussions with operators are moving quickly).
• Plus only a few days ago the company said this :- All stakeholders engaged The big plus for GTW is that all the stakeholders involved want it to happen.
Discussions are underway already with numerous operators.
“They are motivated to find a solution,” says Pegram, especially with gas seen as a bridge towards greener energy sources in future.

Given the urgency for all parties to move GTW forward and in the interests of delivering energy security for the UK and globally I therefore see a breakthrough with one or more project's anytime now. Plus don't forget news on GTW might not be limited to just the UK.....

Couldn't agree more Sharelock. Atm anything positive on Newfoundland would be a bonus but with the focus being on GTW would be good to get something in the form of a deal or 2 first.

The big plus for GTW is that all the stakeholders involved want it to happen.

Gas can be overlooked by companies exploring for oil due to the processing and infrastructure it requires, but GTW opens a new market.
There are mature basins, such as the North Sea, all over the globe, while for second and third world countries desperately short of power it can be an energy source right on their doorstep.

Just figured out who you are Starbuck - your oldsnrtom from advfn lol. Gave the game away with that last post! You've been very busy on advfn these last few months trashing nothing but Nuog because you got banned on here now you've resurfaced having set up a new account just a few days ago. Anyway whatever I don't really care - both Nuog and Mfdevco will receive revenue in 3 ways for each project. The more project's they secure using the Mfdevco model the more revenue - simples.

"The proposed structure enables projects to be financed without diluting the Company's equity interest in MFDevCo. MFDevCo would earn three sources of revenue for each project the SPV purchases: the initial sales price; payment for services to manage projects; and project revenues as a result of its proposed 30% equity holding in the entity"

"MFDevCo will hold 30% equity stake in the SPV which cannot be diluted" ........ it's not clear exactly but perhaps a simplistic view considering Nuog have a 50% share in Mfdevco is that Nuog would receive 15% of project revenues plus a share of revenue from the initial sales price and a payment for services to manage each one.

Plus there will be this ........ "Indicative offers of up to £500,000 for immediate funding have been made, subject to the conclusion of the SPV"

Cob you are right also it will reduce Nu-Oil's general and administration overheads incurred through MFDevCo related costs and staff utilisation. So using the Mfdevco model once the first one is done and dusted it should make other GTW project's easier and quicker to secure therefore with each extra project the revenue generation for both Nuog and Mfdevco should be attractive.

95% of the posters on advfn would not be responsive to any reasonable answer I or numerous posters could offer to make the investment case (trust me many have tried) because they are a load of baffoons that have become bitter disgruntled ex holders. Plus it breeds trolls as it is completely unmoderated.

So in layman's terms that even you could understand Starbuck there's absolutely no point. So considering you have just joined us a few days ago with a grand total of 26 posts it will be interesting to see if you disclose to us at some point whether you buy in here or not. Time will tell.

Based on what exactly? Good for you considering you won't even have a clue how you reached that conclusion having not yet seen the detail of what any revenue generating deal will mean here yet. Until any of us see the detail of the first GTW deal along with SPV arrangement then you are simply guessing. The first deal could be worth ten's of millions over say an initial 10yr period of the project plus shortly after the first deal this should allow for further repeatable GTW deals mirroring that of the Mfdevco model to be secured.

OO take up was 52% which was encouraging given no news announced around the time of the OO being made available.
Graham is not in hiding as I've already said. As for GTW.....

Starbuck you've been here a matter of just a few days so it's obviously escaped your attention that Royscot has been making the same observations for month's (yawn).

You don't know how close or far away news is and the problem with your post is that an awful lot of assumptions are being made by yourself here. The company have learned their lesson here with regards to rampy hints of the past and that's why with regard to progress on GTW nothing is being given away this time (i.e number of deals in the pipeline, who with and the actual size of these projects etc).

As for Graham he most certainly is not in hiding Royscot - what a childish remark to make....when they have something concrete to say I'm sure Graham will be singing like a canary but until then - expect this to continue to head back up next week...
