I agree absolutely perfect timing! A few profit takers along the way is never a bad thing but the overall trend here is up. Several weeks ago I gave a Xmas target SP of 1.5p which I still believe will be achieved.

Zephyr Energy PLC's (LON:ZPHR) Colin Harrington talks to Proactive London about the countdown to the start of drilling later this month, which is "moving forward safely and as efficiently as possible".

Harrington says they've put together "a really great project team from the rig supervisors up to the drilling manager who have experience in the paradox, drilling a number of wells".

The plan is to spud the well before the end of the month and it will then take 30 to 40 days of drilling time depending on what they encounter.

Just ask yourself this. If you or anyone else looking in here believes this is heading to well over a penny and beyond and you can currently buy (small amounts granted) at 0.82p then why wait till it is right up there at that price? Not much time left at this price imo...

Zephyr Energy PLC (LON:ZPHR) continues its countdown to the start of drilling later this month.

The company, in a statement, highlighted that the State 16-2 well in Utah’s Paradox basin is slated to spud by December 31 and it remains “firmly on track” to deliver this key objective.

It noted significant progress on and off site over the past two months – including the assembly of a project team, permitting, site and road works, appointment of rig contractor, and securing funding support.....

I agree Mojolse! And as he confirmed the other day in latest presentation this is an appraisal drill not exploration drill so they have a high chance of success. Plus they have Bruce Houtchens.....

U.S. crude output to decline more than previously forecast in 2020 -EIA

Key bits.....

NEW YORK (Reuters) - "U.S. crude oil production is expected to fall by 910,000 barrels per day (bpd) in 2020 to 11.34 million bpd, the U.S. Energy Information Administration (EIA) said on Tuesday, a steeper decline than its previous forecast for a drop of 860,000 bpd."

"the EIA said that U.S. crude oil production will decline to less than 11 million bpd in March 2021 mostly because of falling production in the lower 48 states, where declining production rates at existing wells is expected to outpace production from newly drilled wells in the coming months."

"In 2021, U.S. oil demand is expected to climb by 1.63 million bpd to 19.79 million bpd"

"Global consumption of petroleum and liquid fuels is expected to average 92.4 million bpd for all of 2020, which is down by 8.8 million bpd from 2019, before increasing by 5.8 million bpd in 2021, the EIA said."

I've pretty much written off my investment here. Luckily I only had around £10k left in at the time this was suspended. I've been fortunate to make back what I lost here and then some but, the sad reality is that if they can't even manage to complete an RTO in the recycling sector given that this used to be a so called oil and gas listed company, then I don't hold out much hope.

Nice start today 1p here we come....

"The Utah Geological Survey estimates undiscovered recoverable oil reserves from the Cane Creek shale play and other shales in the Paradox Basin of at least 471 MILLION BARRELS, making the development of these sizable resources an important step to maintain U.S. energy independence."

Colin and Rick have millions and millions of shares far far more than what I'll ever have and that's because they believe in their investment and are showing a serious commitment. So if it's good enough for them it's good enough for me. Plus there's a higher reward at stake for those prepared to risk it. The risks over the last few weeks have certainly abated and they will further as the drill is completed and the core logs come in.

For those that haven't had the chance to see it yet here's the recent webinar presentation with London South East which I have to say is pretty impressive. The webinar with v o x was also commented on as being the best presentation of the night and one of the best of recent times!

"We were joined by Colin Harrington, CEO of Zephyr Energy from just outside Washington D.C. Zephyr as you may know were previously known as Rose Petroleum, however its definitely a case of strong new management team, new strategy and funding. Colin confirmed they are preparing to spud a $2M Government funded research well at Paradox Basin before the year-end, and have raised £2.25M in a placing to partly cover the cost of a horizontal drill if required. This well is economic at under $30 dollar oil."

Mojolse - good move imo! In your case you've been lucky enough to sell out way back then in the days of Rose on a rise and be smart enough to stay out of this till now. I think we will all do very well here over the next few months including many old Rose investors who are substantially under water right now.
I watched Rose over last couple of years but never jumped in due to concerns I had with the then bod and the slow progress being made.
Thankfully I have no such concerns anymore hence why I have built up a holding of around 15M shares here. Personally I think that if it wasn't for Colin Harrington becoming involved with Rose in 2019, making a substantial investment, being appointed to the bod, becoming the CEO and mapping out a clear direction to transition Rose into Zephyr it's hard to imagine how this would still be trading right now.
That being said I am now extremely positive about the future of this company. My Xmas SP target of 1.5p still stands and within 12 months I can see this being a £50M+ MCAP company.
By the way anyone heard from Sonofscb? I know they were predicting that oil prices would tank and that the SP of Zphr would keep dropping but the opposite is happening in both cases. I hope Sonofscb is alright lol

I'm hearing that Colin impressed quite a few last night with the Vox Markets webinar. So much upside from this level especially with what's going on behind the scenes coupled with the super strong impressive bod
