Its been oversold plus whatever overhang there was cleared yesterday, so much of the rise today is just bouncing back. Then you have to factor in the general swing from covid shares into recovery shares with the improving vaccination rates not just here but across the world too. Not been much positive news for ages either so news is overdue, so there’s probably a bit of anticipation on the back of the opening up on Monday next week rather than any leak.

You can’t just make stuff up wigwammer. He did not sell 30% of his position, he sold 700k shares out of his 3.7m holding. I can supply you with a calculator if you want?

As to large sellers, that could literally be anyone, so suggesting that its insiders is not accurate. The free float here is still quite low and all of that is held by PIs, who are more susceptible to changing their mind and going off to chase something else.

There is no evidence of “insiders dumping for weeks” as you put it. Ed sold most of his position down before Christmas due to desperately sad personal circumstances, and Duncan T trimmed his position to 3m shares at the beginning of March and release a TR1.

They currently have 3 x major rentals of touring sets around the globe, brickosaurs in Israel, Superzise at john Ball zoo and Animal Paradise at Naples Zoo. Those are all big rentals and will be bringing in a good revenue. You also have to factor that in with all the costs savings that have been made and deferment of the Chairman’s loan. Hopefully some more news of rentals as we come out of lockdown will come soon along with further news of some of the new busineses too.

Naples Zoo is extending the BRICKLIVE Animal Paradise traveling exhibit for an additional month.

Guests of all ages have loved the life-size animal statues made of toy bricks. The exhibit features more than 35 animal statues created with over 1.4 million individual toy bricks. This is the first time the exhibit is in Florida and now guests have an additional month to enjoy it!

To clarify, the additional months adds £80/100k to revenue. The total value for the John Ball Zoo rental will be in the region of £250/300k

Confirmation that John Ball Zoo is opening 2 months early and lasting 50% longer. That will add between £80/100k to the revenue this year, and importantly that revenue comes 2 months earlier

Looks to be a very experienced team running the new divisions. Some of these event could be very profitable. Take the cycling alone, which at over 40,000 participants at £27 a head will generate over £1 million. All the costs as covered by the pick and pay sponsor. Then add triathlon, the sailing, the golf tournaments, the e-fest, best of series and formula e. Opportunity to expand globally too. Then there are the K-POP concerts too.

The combined businesses are now valued at less than the bricklive business was alone, and with 24 touring sets already on the books that alone is a big cash cow (even more so now they have gutted the operating costs)

John Ball zoo Bricklive supersize tour is opening 2 months early on 27 March and still going on until September (50% longer). That’s big news IMO as its a big tour which will command between £40/50k a month. Confirmed with JBZ guest relations….

From sneaky predators such as the fearless honey badger to the venomous blue-ringed octopus, the over 30 toy brick sculptures are featured because of their colorful appearance in nature, unusual natural abilities, and because they can be magnified to an eye-popping size.

When ZOO rentals started reviews on social media showed that children were more interested in the models than the animals. That was especially true for the brickosaurs exhibit and you have heard Tina say that demand for that touring set is exceptional which is why they are planning to build a 2nd set. Shopping centres similarly keep coming back to rent more sets as they have been shown to draw people from a long way. The Birmingham bricklive trail was completed by over 100,000 people for example, and that’s just the ones that filled in the cards. These exhibits breath new life into old museums etc which is why they are renting them out.

It’s my supposition based on the RNS dated 25 Nov 2019 (see previous message).

Nobody likes to see people inside the company selling, of course, but if he had to sell some as a result of a tax bill then there’s just no getting around it I suppose. But better to have sold at the lows than have him selling into any recovery rise and, given that he will have had to have sought approval from the Board before selling, I wonder if they were thinking exactly that.

He didn’t sell 40% of his holding at all. Looks like he sold circa 700k shares down to a holding of 3 m shares. Suspect that this was to settle a tax liability from the Brightbricks sale (see RNS dated 25 Nov 2019 for details).

Great progress in the vaccination programme. Over 20 million have received a 1st dose. On track to hit 60% by the end of March.
