From RNS of 3 Dec “LCSE together with Explorado Group GmbH, the parent company of the Group's existing partner in Germany for BRICKLIVE have formed a joint venture, K-POP Europa Ltd ("KPE"). KPE is in the final stages of agreement to stage a K-Pop concert in Germany in partnership with a Korean broadcaster and a local German Stadium who are underwriting the costs.”

Explorado group seem pretty experienced at this sort of thing.

Latest website states that “ Revenue model are fees and commissions, TV/broadcast and ticket sales, thereby no risk”

So there is an experienced partner, plus they have the stadium who are underwriting the costs. Yes the ticket fees will have to cover the artists fees, stadium costs, and organising costs for the partner, but the stadium will make money from cross selling food etc.

Overall lvcg are not having to put up much (if any) capital so it’s likely their gross margins will be high.

Sure you won’t know until after the audited accounts, but the estimates for ticket sales are not that hard to work out. For the KPOP concerts, tickets will probably be £80 to £100 and probably even higher, that’s £4 to £5 million for each concert. Then there will be the tv rights.

The cycling is 58% sold out so at £30 a head for 85% of 18000 places that’s £459,000

Then add the formula e, efest, concerts, golf tournaments and hosting the ocean racing.

Worth listening to Ian Banner on TV rights with world sport. Things are more advanced than they seem.

The new division of lcse is 100% owned by lvcg, so any fees that are taken by DC will be fully visible in the accounts. That’s a different structure to Start Art where lvcg has a 16.3% minority interest of issued share capital.

Like thereshegoes I don’t understand NFTs and I’m not the biggest fan of the aquisition, but here are some WSJ articles that explain a bit more about them. Not quite shut down entirely as the touring sets were being employed in socially distanced outdoor (and even indoor) attractions when not in lockdown. They still did £1.9m in revenue last year even with the lockdowns. The other thing that has changed is the new divisions that have been added. The potential of some of these in revenue generating is clear (e.g the cycling could bring in £1m a year recurring revenue at a good profit rate, then how much will the KPOP concerts, golf tournaments, efest, ocean racing host city and the formula e events in the future. With the touring sets and bricklive before the pandemic they were forecasting a revised lower revenue for 2021 of £9.4m a year with an eps of 2.25p. They are delayed in getting back up to that, but if all the assets are rented out for next year and BL shows are back on then that should be possible. Operating costs are much lower too, then you have the new divisions, which would counter some of the increased shares in issue. Even accounting for the latest aquisition (the value of which still has to be proven and IMO should not have been done until the SP had recovered (if at all) ) if they move into profit by the end of this year this should be worth considerably more than the current mcap of just £5m.

With the placing at 5p with no warrants this time, its unlikely that placees will be selling below that this time, so there must have been some very big news coming as there is no way that they would have signed up to that otherwise.

Small buy went through at 4.775p too but showing as a sell. The MMs have been doing this for months on this share, can’t see them changing any time soon.

I doubt it, more likely 4.5/5.0 with the manipulation that goes on with the MMs on this share.

Pumpedordumped dot com (in case the software on LSE screens it out) which has been written to look for typical ramping phrases. Its all useful information that you can use to piece together in your research of any share.

Worth noting too that some trades get delayed by a couple of hours, especially the bigger trades, so if bid/ask has subsequently changed since the trade, it gets misreported. The MMs play on that deliberately to disguise selling and buying. They also tend to completely misrepresent the real bid/ask quite a lot on illiquid shares, so if they are short of shares they will try and make it look like people are selling and vice versa. You can generally tell from the price of the trade if its a buy or a sell, but even then you can’t as depending on how many you buy you might get a different MM selling them to you and therefore a different price. Easiest way to check if you want to know is to do a dummy buy or sell and you can see the actual bid/ask (but be careful not to be fat fingered and do a trade you don’t want to). So the computer generated allocation is just a rough guide at best.
