Russkiemole. Hoping you are wrong and it won't be the "office cat" attending Indaba Conference in Cape Town next week. Reading the blurb it sounds exactly the place we should be going to - as all the big players will be represented - maybe even people we are already in discussions with. To be honest this reassures me.....

Hopefully our star billing on the risers board today will have concentrated some minds!! What isn't to like about the RNS today!! (calm steady progress). This was always going to be a coin toss proposition of "to drill or not to drill". Drill equals bonanza, and not drill (probably busted dreams). Last Autumn I think definitely 50/50, but the closer we get to our drill date the better odds (maybe 70/30 currently). Still a few potential icebergs for us to "whittle about" e.g Environmental permit from Bahamas Govt, possibly more earthquakes!! ha ha. Still gotta be really positive about where we are with this personally, after 4 years of frustration. Maytal46

I have no beef with you (infact I like some of your posts) but I don't think this one of your best. If, after looking at the prospects for EUA, you think it is a very good hold, then why would anyone consider selling up when price is dipping - surely a chance to buy. For me I am more than happy to wait for news (absence of news is sometimes an opportunity) - if you believe in the prospects! Obviously different if a short term holder, or day trader , or have better prospects elsewhere.

Was going to top this up this morning, but went for AFC instead. Not a brilliant decision - so far!! Never mind. However last couple of RNS here could have been immeasurably worse, and I think we are now looking stable. Lot of risk taken off the table?

Of course it all makes sense. Harry is moving to Canada to become Minto Operator, and Meghan will just Operate Harry.

£1m raise is only 1% of MCAP, and being used to accelerate production of the 160 unit, not for general running expenses. Can't wait for news of first orders - which should really be the news that will make the SP move.

Last year I excitedly topped up my ADM shares when Ahmed Bin Dalmook Al Maktoum (Dubai) invested in ADM using the Sovereign wealth fund...... what could go wrong (even changed the name to duplicate his ADM)? Except he suddenly lost interest out the blue and SP tanked.
Now LEK receive huge funding, pretty much out of the blue, seemingly from Qatar...…….so I top up my LEK shares by £3k, to average down my losses....... what could go wrong? Now LEK are suspended in highly odd circumstances.
I think lesson going forward is beware West African Oilers with Middle Eastern sugar daddies!!
At least EUA mining is doing well for me otherwise I would be truly miffed at my own stupidity.
That said I would probably do the same again!!

Thanks to everyone who offered good sound advice around Bed and ISA. In hindsight I am a numpty for not doing my homework about it before - but never really needed it before because I haven't had a share as successful as EUA. Following all your good advice (and some further reading) I have done a Bed and ISA with Charles Stanley today at 3.7 Sell, and 3.702 Buy , with reasonable Broker charges - which as set my mind at rest. Once again thanks to everyone that proffered constructive educational advice. I know sometimes there can be a lot of "fluff and testosterone" on this chatroom, but also a lot of really helpful people. Happy New Year All

Have been holding AFC for about 3 years, so not as long suffering as many, feeling quite positive for 2020. I have a technical question that some of our more scientific holders may be able to answer. I believe that Palladium can be used in Hydrogen Fuel Cells and associated technology. Does anyone know whether any of the AFC products contain Palladium (or Platinum)? Reason I ask is that Palladium has rocketed this year - up to nearly $2000 per oz, and forecast to go higher. I have a holding in EUA Mining which has multi bagged this year solely due to Palladium/Platinum prospects. Hoping that there is not any significant amount of Palladium in our products which could increase our costs. Ideal answer I would like to hear is that we have no Palladium content in any of our products. GLA

Hi all. Bought £3k worth of EUA in Feb 2017 for .057p. Whoopee this has now 7 bagged to £22k. Unfortunately I have these in my Charles Stanley Investment Account, and not in my ISA Account (where I do also have a smaller EUA holding). Perfectly possible that this will multi bag again in 2020. Obviously want this to sky rocket, but tax implications would be horrible if it multi bagged while in the Investment Account. I am too nervous to sell all £22k in one go, and being completely out in case of RNS news. So I am going to sell off in blocks of £5k, and buy back in my ISA when cash clears - to minimise the risk. This is clearly a "first world problem" as I am very happy with EUA prospects, but a salutary lesson for me and others to plan for tax implications - of being stuck in an Investment Account, when a share "goes mental".
Ideally share price will remain stable for next couple of weeks until I can swap into ISA Account. GLA
