Letter sent out to care providers of EAP
Dear Health Care Provider,
We would like to provide an important update regarding the Gallium Maltolate Expanded
Access Program (EAP) for recurrent glioblastoma.
After careful evaluation, we have made the decision to discontinue the acceptance of
new patients and clinical sites into the EAP. All patients currently enrolled will continue
to receive medication and program support without interruption.
This decision does not reflect a lack of confidence in gallium maltolate or the scientific
rationale behind this investigational therapy. We remain encouraged by the biological
mechanisms and prior clinical signals associated with gallium in clinical practice. At this
stage, we believe the most meaningful path forward is to evaluate the EAP data in
conjunction with the recently completed Phase 1 clinical trial data and consider
subsequent development pathways.
We remain fully committed to supporting current EAP participants throughout their
course of treatment and will continue working closely with clinicians, investigators, and
stakeholders who are advancing clinical research involving gallium.
We sincerely appreciate the physicians, patients, caregivers, and advocacy groups who
have supported the EAP, shared insights, and contributed to the growing scientific
understanding in this field. Your participation has been invaluable.
If you are a clinician with an active patient in the EAP, or a participant currently receiving
treatment, please continue to communicate directly with the program team for
medication coordination, refills, and support services. No action is required at this time.
Thank you for your continued dedication and advocacy. We remain committed to
advancing therapeutic options for the brain tumor community.
Il try and rumble a question together but your all more adequate than me .
RNS was a bit dismal do you think this could have the opposite effect and SP rises ?
